是時也、耶穌感於聖神而喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、父乎、然也、此乃爾所悅者也、

當時、耶穌心喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此道隱於智者才者、而顯之於赤子、誠哉、父之善意、固如是也、

當時耶穌心喜曰、父歟、天地之主、我頌讚爾、因爾以斯道隱於智者達者、而顯之於赤子、父歟、是也、因爾之意固如是也、

當時主感於聖神、不勝忻愉曰：『偉哉聖父！天地之主！爾令世之智者昧於妙道、而獨啟迪赤子之心。父乎、是誠爾之美意。

At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said,“ O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.

At that time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said,“ I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was Your good pleasure.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.”

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish:

We speak wisdom, however, among them that are fullgrown: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought:but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory:which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory:

At that season Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes:yea, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in thy sight.All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar- Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;

that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, even Christ,in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.

The friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him; And he will show them his covenant.

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

He frustrateth the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.He taketh the wise in their own craftiness; And the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.They meet with darkness in the day- time, And grope at noonday as in the night.

and said unto him, Hearest thou what these are saying? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea: did ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, Because of thine adversaries, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?

God is faithful, through whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.For it hath been signified unto me concerning you, my brethren, by them that are of the household of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.Now this I mean, that each one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?I thank God that I baptized none of you, save Crispus and Gaius;lest any man should say that ye were baptized into my name.And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the discernment of the discerning will I bring to nought.Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom knew not God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save them that believe.Seeing that Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek after wisdom:but we preach Christ crucified, unto Jews a stumblingblock, and unto Gentiles foolishness;but unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put to shame them that are wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;and the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, did God choose, yea and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought the things that are:that no flesh should glory before God.

And when she hath found it, she calleth together her friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.

Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.O righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these knew that thou didst send me;and I made known unto them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in them, and I in them.

The earth is Jehovah’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.

And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.The meek also shall increase their joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for the redeemed: the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err therein.

So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me.

therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:and again, The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.
