So He saved them from the hand of one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

Blessed are you, Israel; Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, The shield of your help, And He who is the sword of your majesty! So your enemies will cringe before you, And you will trample on their high places.”

The Lord has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You will no longer fear disaster.On that day it will be said to Jerusalem:“ Do not be afraid, Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.I will gather those who are worried about the appointed feasts— They came from you, Zion; The disgrace of exile is a burden on them.Behold, I am going to deal at that time With all your oppressors; I will save those who limp And gather the scattered, And I will turn their shame into praise and fame In all the earth.At that time I will bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will make you famous and praiseworthy Among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” Says the Lord.

They will no longer be plunder to the nations, and the animals of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make them afraid.

Behold, I am going to gather them out of all the lands to which I have driven them in My anger, in My wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them back to this place and have them live in safety.

“ For a brief moment I abandoned you, But with great compassion I will gather you.In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, But with everlasting favor I will have compassion on you,” Says the Lord your Redeemer.“ For this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would not flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you Nor rebuke you.For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.“ Afflicted one, storm tossed, and not comforted, Behold, I will set your stones in antimony, And I will lay your foundations with sapphires.Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, And your gates of crystal, And your entire wall of precious stones.All your sons will be taught by the Lord; And the well being of your sons will be great.In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.If anyone fiercely attacks you, it will not be from Me. Whoever attacks you will fall because of you.Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals And produces a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to inflict ruin.No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

When the Lord has compassion on Jacob and again chooses Israel, and settles them on their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.The peoples will take them along and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will make them their own possession in the land of the Lord as male and female servants; and they will take their captors captive and will rule over their oppressors.And it will be on the day when the Lord gives you rest from your hardship, your turmoil, and from the harsh service in which you have been enslaved,

“ And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful animals from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual place of ruins; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.

They will live on it securely; and they will build houses, plant vineyards, and live securely when I execute judgments upon all around them who despise them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.” ’ ”

But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.And do not fear, Jacob My servant,’ declares the Lord,‘ And do not be dismayed, Israel; For behold, I am going to save you from far away, And your descendants from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and be at peace, without anxiety, And no one will make him afraid.For I am with you,’ declares the Lord,‘ to save you; For I will completely destroy all the nations where I have scattered you, Only I will not destroy you completely. But I will discipline you fairly And will by no means leave you unpunished.’

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.And I will eliminate the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; And the bow of war will be eliminated. And He will speak peace to the nations; And His dominion will be from sea to sea, And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Would serve Him without fear,

Save us, Lord our God, And gather us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,Causing the omens of diviners to fail, Making fools of fortune tellers; Causing wise men to turn back And making their knowledge ridiculous,Confirming the word of His servant And carrying out the purpose of His messengers. It is I who says of Jerusalem,‘ She shall be inhabited!’ And of the cities of Judah,‘ They shall be built.’ And I will raise her ruins again.

the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
