For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me.

for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.

He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe inspiring name he has!

Lord, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.

We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said,“ What amazing things the Lord has done for them.”Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy!

Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy!

When Abram was ninety nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said,“ I am El Shaddai—‘ God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.

Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with you, O God?You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.

But the Lord stands beside me like a great warrior. Before him my persecutors will stumble. They cannot defeat me. They will fail and be thoroughly humiliated. Their dishonor will never be forgotten.
