撒迦利亞謂天使曰、我何以知此、蓋我已老、妻亦年邁矣、

Zechariah asked the angel,“ How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”

And Zechariah said to the angel,“ How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.”

“ How can I know this?” Zechariah asked the angel.“ For I am an old man, and my wife is well along in years.”

And Zacharias said to the angel,“ How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

“ How can I know this?” Zechariah asked the angel.“ For I am an old man, and my wife is well along in years.”

And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

Zechariah said to the angel,“ How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.”

亞伯拉罕俯伏而哂、竊謂百歲之人、猶能生子乎、撒拉年九十、猶能生育乎、

馬利亞謂天使曰、我未適人、何以得此、

曰、主耶和華歟、我承此地、何以知之、

基甸謂上帝曰、如爾果循所言、假我手而拯以色列人、今我以綿羊毛一束、置於禾場、若露獨在毛、而土壤皆乾燥、則知爾假我手拯以色列人、依爾所言、詰朝、事果如是、基甸夙興、取毛揉之、擠露盈盂、基甸又謂上帝曰、祈勿我怒、我復進一辭而後已、容再一次試之以毛、我欲羊毛乾燥、而土壤皆霑露、是夜上帝如言而行、羊毛獨乾燥、土壤皆霑露、

摩西曰、我偕居之民、步卒六十萬、爾言予之肉食、至於一月、豈宰羣羊及牛、抑集海中鱗族、以饜之乎、耶和華曰、耶和華之臂豈短耶、今必見我言之應否、○

竊哂曰、我老矣、吾主亦然、庸有喜乎、

但無子、蓋以利沙伯弗妊、而二人年又邁、○

彼雖年近百齡、自念其身如死、撒拉絕孕、而其信不衰、

扶王之軍長謂上帝僕曰、即耶和華啟牖於天、豈能有此事乎、以利沙曰、爾必目睹、惟不得食、○

希西家曰、我登耶和華室、有何徵乎、
