彼將以以利亞之性與能、行於主前、使為父者之心、轉向其子、逆者從義者之智、為主備適宜之民、

彼將以以利亞之神志才能、為主前驅、使為父者心慈其子、背逆者慕義人智慧、為主備歸誠之民、

以伊理藹之風度神力為主前驅、必使為父者之心歸向兒女、而頑強之子服膺長者之智、為主作育心悅誠服之新民。』

And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous— to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

And he will prepare the way for the Lord. He will have the same spirit and power that Elijah had. He will bring peace between parents and their children. He will teach people who don’t obey to be wise and do what is right. In this way, he will prepare a people who are ready for the Lord.”

我耶和華降災之日、有威可畏、斯期未屆、我必遣先知以利亞、彼將使父慈其子、子孝其父、免我涖臨、降災於斯土。

若爾願承我言、當來之以利亞、即斯人也、

毋濟祖惡、如祖悖逆、其心不正、其志不立、以事上帝兮。

昔我曾自言非基督、乃奉使於其先、爾曹可證、

耶穌曰、以利亞先至、振興諸事、吾語汝、以利亞已至、人不之識、任意以待、如是、人子亦將受害矣、

我見數位居之者得以鞫人、昔有不拜獸、及獸像、其顙其手不受印誌、為耶穌言、及上帝道、見殺復生、與基督乘權一千年、

問耶穌曰、士子有言、以利亞當先至、何歟、曰、以利亞先至、振興諸事、而人子必備受害、為人所忽、記已言之、吾語汝、以利亞已至、而人任意以待、如記所言、○

列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝耶和華與、願使爾民恆懷斯心、以奉事爾、

我謝父、俾我眾得共稱聖徒之業於光明之域、

寅畏耶和華則智慧、守其命令則聰明兮、榮光恆存兮、

百物如將消滅、爾曹宜如何行善虔敬、佇望仰慕上帝顯日、其顯則天爇而崩、有形色者焚而燬、上帝有命、天地一新、義處乎中、我儕所望、良朋望此、則當黽勉、無玷無疵安然見、

昔其心迷悖逆、今則明理順道。

眾出受洗、約翰曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避後日之刑乎、故當結果、以彰悔改、勿自以為亞伯拉罕我祖也、吾語汝、上帝能起此石、為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、今斧置樹根、凡樹不結善果者、則斫之委火、眾問曰、我當何為、曰、有二衣、則分彼無衣者、有食亦然、稅吏至、欲受洗、問曰、先生、我當何為、曰定賦之外勿取、軍士問曰、我當何為、曰、勿強索人、勿誣詐人、以所得之糧足矣、○

爾乃成聖之國、得救之民、推選之族、為王而祭司者、既蒙主召爾出幽暗、入靈光、爾當表彰其德、

故我必降爾以罰、以色列族乎、爾之上帝將臨汝、必預為備、思何以當之、

對以不可、後悔而往、命其次子亦如之、對曰、主、諾、既而不果往、爾意何如、二者、孰遵父旨乎、曰、長子、耶穌曰、我誠告爾、稅吏娼妓、先爾入上帝國矣、蓋約翰以道義就爾、爾不信、而稅吏娼妓信之、且爾見此、又不後悔以信之、○

故耶和華云、爾寢於床、不得再下、至於死亡。以利亞遂往。使者反。王曰、爾何遽返。曰、有人迓我、使我以耶和華所言、反告於王云、在以色列中、豈無上帝、乃遣人詢以革倫之上帝巴力西卜乎。故爾寢於床、不得再下、至於死亡。

亞哈曰、爾為我敵、今乃與我相遇乎。曰、我遇爾者、因爾在耶和華前、惟惡是務。

若人潔己去私、則成貴重之器、皭然適乎主用、備諸善行、

令以色列人、多轉而歸主、即其上帝焉、

故我見而證其為上帝子也、○

基列之的庇人、以利亞告亞哈曰、我指所事以色列族之上帝耶和華而誓、今以後、數年間雨露不降、惟我言是聽。

上帝感動其民、民奉行維速、希西家與民偕樂。

約翰見𠵽唎㘔［口撒］吐𡀲人、多就己受洗、謂之曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避後日之刑乎、故當結果、以彰悔改、勿自以為亞伯拉罕吾祖也、吾語爾、上帝能使此石為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、今斧置樹根、凡樹不結善果者、即砍之委火、夫我以水施洗、俾爾悔改、但後我來者、更勝於我、其履我亦不堪提、彼將以聖神及火施洗爾、其手執箕、盡簸厥禾場、斂穀入倉、而燒糠以不滅之火、○

而以大榮示我儕蒙召者、

是非由血氣、非由情欲、非由人意而生、乃由上帝也、

約翰曾謂之曰、納此婦非義也、

故我遣人請爾、爾來甚善、今我咸在上帝前、願聞上帝所命爾者、○

貧者上祈、耶和華傾耳垂聽、而堅其志兮、

豈不知不義者、不得上帝國乎、毋自欺也、淫亂、拜偶像、行姦、為孌童、比頑童、寇攘、貪婪、沉湎、詬誶、殘酷者、皆不得上帝國也、爾曹數人、素亦如是、今賴吾主耶穌名、及吾上帝之神、洗滌成聖稱義、

對曰、貽禍於以色列族、非我也、乃爾及爾父之家、違耶和華命、奉事巴力故耳。

夫約翰衣駝毛、束皮帶、食則蝗蟲野蜜、○

告王曰、耶和華云、爾遣人詢以革倫之上帝巴力西卜、在以色列中、豈無上帝、可以諮諏、故爾寢於床、不得再下、至於死亡。

撒母耳曰、當集以色列族、悉至米斯巴、我為汝祈耶和華。
