永恆主雖定意用憂患將他壓傷，但他將本身獻為賠罪祭時，他卻要看到他的後裔，並且延年益壽，而永恆主定的旨意也必在他手中順利地實現，

弟子啊，要將你的心給予我；你的眼要喜悅我的道路。

永恆主發神諭說：這一切都是我手造的，這一切都是我的。但以下這種人我倒要垂看：我要垂看卑遜謙虛、心靈傷痛，一聽見我的話、就戰戰兢兢的人。

上帝所要的祭乃是憂傷的靈；憂傷痛悔的心，上帝啊，你不藐視。

因為那崇高又高聳的這麼說，那住「永恆」、其名為聖者說：『我住崇高而至聖的所在，也跟心靈痛悔而謙卑的人同住，要使謙卑人的靈活起來，使痛悔之人的心復活。

他要從平安祭中、取為火祭獻與永恆主，把蓋臟腑的脂肪和臟腑上的一切脂肪、兩個腰子和腰子上的脂肪、靠近腰兩旁的脂肪、和肝上的附屬物、連腰子、都供獻上。亞倫的子孫要給燻在祭壇上的燔祭品上、就是在壇火之柴上、做怡神香氣之火祭獻與永恆主。

祭司要用指頭取解罪祭牲的一點兒血、抹在燔祭壇的四角上，把所有的血都倒在祭壇腳那裏，他要把一切脂肪取下來，正如平安祭牲綿羔羊的脂肪被取下來一樣；祭司要把這些物品燻在祭壇上、在獻與永恆主的火祭之上：關於那人所犯的罪、祭司要這樣為他行消除禮，他就蒙赦免。

他要把解罪祭的公牛一切脂肪都取起來；就是把蓋臟腑上的脂肪和臟腑上的一切脂肪、兩個腰子、和腰子上的脂肪、靠近腰兩旁的脂肪、和肝上的附屬物、連腰子、都取下來，（正如從平安祭的牛取起來一樣）；祭司要把這些祭品燻在燔祭壇上。至於公牛的皮和所有的肉、連頭帶腿、以及臟腑和糞：就是整隻公牛，卻要搬出營外、潔淨的地方、倒灰的所在、在柴上用火燒牠：總要在倒灰的地方燒。
