Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar to purify the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.

And he killed it, and Moses took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar around it and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it.

你們呢、你們素來在心神上因邪惡的行為被隔絕而做仇敵的、如今上帝已在基督血肉之身體上，藉着他的死，使你們跟自己完全復和了，好把你們引到自己面前，聖別純潔、無瑕無疵、無可指責。

所以就是先前的約也不是沒有用血開創的。當時各條誡命既由摩西按照律法向眾民宣講了，他就拿牛犢山羊的血，用水和朱紅絨跟牛膝草、灑在那書卷上，並且灑在眾民身上，說：『這就是上帝向你們立誡命的約之血』。就是帳幕和禮拜用的一切器皿，他也照樣地用血灑。其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。這樣，天上之事的仿本既然必須用這些禮節來潔淨，那天上的本物自然必須用比這些更好的祭獻去潔淨了。

祭司要用指頭取祭牲的一點兒血、抹在燔祭壇的四角上，把所有的血都倒在祭壇腳那裏。

『關於你本國人民和你的聖城、已經截定了七十個七，為要結束罪過，了結罪惡，除盡罪孽，引進永久的義，印證異象和神言人的話，膏抹至聖之地。

『你要把那公牛牽到會棚前來獻；亞倫和他兒子們要按手在那公牛頭上。你要在永恆主面前、在會棚出入處宰這公牛，取些公牛的血，用指頭抹在祭壇的四角上，把所有的血倒在祭壇腳那裏。

凡解罪祭牲的血若被帶進會棚、在聖所裏做除罪禮的用處，那肉都喫不得；總要用火燒。

一切都是由於上帝；他藉着基督使我們人跟他自己復和，又將復和的職分賜給我們。這就是說，在基督裏、上帝叫世人跟他自己復和，不將他們的過犯算在他們賬上，又將這復和之道託付了我們。所以我們替基督做大使，彷彿是上帝藉着我們來勸勉。我們替基督求你們，跟上帝復和吧。他叫那不認識罪的替我們成了罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為上帝之義。

我們做仇敵時、既藉着上帝兒子的死得與上帝復和，豈不更要在復和之後、因着基督的活以得救麼？

主永恆主對摩西發神諭說：你要將一隻牛、是小公牛、作為解罪染祭、給祭司利未人、撒督的後裔、那些親近我來伺候我的祭司。你要取些公牛的血、抹在祭壇的四角、和磴臺的四拐角、跟四圍起的邊上，來給祭壇除罪染，給祭壇除罪污。你也要將那作為解罪染祭的公牛犢燒在殿外聖地之外指定的地方。第二天你要將一隻完全沒有殘疾的公山羊獻為解罪染祭，以給祭壇解罪染，像用公牛犢之解罪染一樣。既已行完了解罪染的禮，你就要獻一隻完全沒有殘疾的牛、是小公牛、和羊羣中一隻完全沒有殘疾的公綿羊。你獻在永恆主面前，祭司們要撒鹽在那上頭，做燔祭獻上給永恆主。七天之內你每天要豫備一隻公山羊為解罪染祭；也要豫備一隻牛、是小公牛，和羊羣中的一隻公綿羊，都要完全沒有殘疾的。七天之內祭司們給祭壇除罪染，使它潔淨，就這樣授與聖用途給它了。滿了七天，從第八天起，祭司們就要在祭壇上獻你們的燔祭和平安祭；我就要悅納你們了：主永恆主發神諭說。』

好把雙方、藉着十字架、在一個身體裏、跟上帝完全復和，因為他已經用十字架把那敵態消滅了。

所以他應該在各方面被形成為和弟兄們一樣，好在關於上帝的事上做能憐恤人而可信靠的大祭司，永為人民的罪做除罪祭。

『亞倫為聖所跟會棚和祭壇、行完了除罪染，就要把那隻活的公山羊獻上：

你每天要獻一隻公牛為解罪祭來除罪。你給祭壇除罪染的時候、也要給祭壇獻解罪祭；要用膏膏祭壇，把它分別為聖。你要給祭壇行除罪染的禮七天，把它分別為聖，祭壇就成為至聖的；凡觸着祭壇的都會成為聖的。』

七月一日你也要為誤犯了罪的人或因愚戇無知而犯了罪的人而這樣行，好使你們為殿除罪染。

祭司要用指頭蘸點兒血，在永恆主面前、對着帷帳彈七次。他要把一點兒血抹在會棚內永恆主面前香壇的四角上，又把所有的血都倒在會棚出入處燔祭壇腳那裏。
