“‘ Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone ceremonially clean may eat it.

祭肉為穢物所玷、則不得食、爇之以火、如未被玷者、惟純潔之人可食。

是肉若為不潔之物所污、則不可食、焚之以火、凡潔者俱可食此肉、

“‘ They must not eat meat that touches anything“ unclean.” They must burn it up. Anyone“ clean” may eat any other meat.

“ Flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned up with fire. All who are clean may eat flesh,

“ Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean may not be eaten; it must be completely burned up. The rest of the meat may be eaten, but only by people who are ceremonially clean.

“ Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned. Everyone who is clean may eat any other meat.

‘ Also the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. As for other flesh, anyone who is clean may eat such flesh.

‘ The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are clean may eat of it.

And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire. And as for the flesh, every one that is clean shall eat thereof:

The meat which touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up in the fire. As for ceremonially clean meat, everyone who is ceremonially clean may eat the meat.

I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.

Therefore,“ Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

“‘ You will make yourselves unclean by these; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.Whoever picks up one of their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.“‘ Every animal that does not have a divided hoof or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carcass of any of them will be unclean.Of all the animals that walk on all fours, those that walk on their paws are unclean for you; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.Anyone who picks up their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. These animals are unclean for you.“‘ Of the animals that move along the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon.Of all those that move along the ground, these are unclean for you. Whoever touches them when they are dead will be unclean till evening.When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth. Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean.If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot.Any food you are allowed to eat that has come into contact with water from any such pot is unclean, and any liquid that is drunk from such a pot is unclean.Anything that one of their carcasses falls on becomes unclean; an oven or cooking pot must be broken up. They are unclean, and you are to regard them as unclean.A spring, however, or a cistern for collecting water remains clean, but anyone who touches one of these carcasses is unclean.If a carcass falls on any seeds that are to be planted, they remain clean.But if water has been put on the seed and a carcass falls on it, it is unclean for you.“‘ If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches its carcass will be unclean till evening.

He said to them:“ You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.

Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

“ Whoever touches a human corpse will be unclean for seven days.They must purify themselves with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then they will be clean. But if they do not purify themselves on the third and seventh days, they will not be clean.If they fail to purify themselves after touching a human corpse, they defile the Lord’s tabernacle. They must be cut off from Israel. Because the water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on them, they are unclean; their uncleanness remains on them.“ This is the law that applies when a person dies in a tent: Anyone who enters the tent and anyone who is in it will be unclean for seven days,and every open container without a lid fastened on it will be unclean.“ Anyone out in the open who touches someone who has been killed with a sword or someone who has died a natural death, or anyone who touches a human bone or a grave, will be unclean for seven days.

The voice spoke to him a second time,“ Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

But now as for what is inside you— be generous to the poor, and everything will be clean for you.
