But any sin offering whose blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place must not be eaten; it must be burned up.

“若大祭司犯罪，祸及众民，他必须献给耶和华一头毫无残疾的公牛犊作赎罪祭。他要把公牛犊牵到会幕门口，将手放在牛头上，在耶和华面前宰牛。他要取一些牛血带进会幕里，在耶和华面前用手指蘸血向圣所的幔子弹洒七次，也要把一些血抹在耶和华面前的香坛的四角上，然后把剩下的血倒在会幕门口的燔祭坛脚旁。他要取出作赎罪祭的公牛犊的所有脂肪，包括遮盖内脏的脂肪和内脏上的脂肪、两个肾脏和肾脏上靠近腰部的脂肪以及肝叶，正如取出平安祭牲的脂肪一样。他要将这一切放在燔祭坛上焚烧。至于公牛剩下的部分，即皮、所有的肉、头颅、腿、内脏和粪便，他要带到营外洁净之处，就是倒坛灰的地方，放在柴上焚烧。

既然这祭牲的血没有被带进圣所，你们本应按照我的吩咐在圣洁之处吃这祭肉。”

大祭司把祭牲的血带进圣所作为赎罪祭献上，而祭牲的身体则在营外烧掉。

作赎罪祭的公牛和公山羊的血被带进圣所用来赎罪，要把公牛和公山羊带到营外，用火焚烧它们的皮、肉和粪。负责焚烧的人要洗衣、沐浴，然后才可回到营里。

现在基督已经来到，做了美好新约的大祭司，祂进入了那更伟大、更全备、非人手建造、不属于这个世界的圣幕。祂只进入至圣所一次便完成了永远的救赎，用的不是山羊和牛犊的血，而是自己的血。
