‘ And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.

如獻山羊、奉於耶和華前、

如欲獻山羊、以奉於我、

若所獻者為山羊、當牽於主前、

“‘ If your offering is a goat, you are to present it before the Lord,

“‘ If someone brings a goat, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.

“ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord

“ If you present a goat as your offering, bring it to the Lord,

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

‘ Now if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord,

And if his oblation be a goat, then he shall offer it before Jehovah:

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the Lord.

And if his offering[ be] a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

“‘ If his offering is a goat he must present it before the LORD,

“‘ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.

you shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf.And whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.Those that are blind or broken or maimed, or have an ulcer or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to the Lord.Either a bull or a lamb that has any limb too long or too short you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.‘ You shall not offer to the Lord what is bruised or crushed, or torn or cut; nor shall you make any offering of them in your land.Nor from a foreigner’s hand shall you offer any of these as the bread of your God, because their corruption is in them, and defects are in them. They shall not be accepted on your behalf.’”And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:“ When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted as an offering made by fire to the Lord.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

‘ If his offering is of the flocks— of the sheep or of the goats— as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male without blemish.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock— of the herd and of the flock.

All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and killed it and offered it for sin, like the first one.

And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying,‘ Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering,

For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

And he shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.

‘ When his offering is a sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

If he offers a lamb as his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord.And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.‘ Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove;and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the Lord.‘ And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.Then he shall offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove;and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; all the fat is the LORD’s.‘ This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”

Then Moses made careful inquiry about the goat of the sin offering, and there it was— burned up. And he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,
