“如果他们承认自己和祖先的罪，就是背叛我、与我作对的恶行——

“那时他们就会承认自己的罪孽和他们祖先的罪孽，就是他们对我不忠的过犯，又承认因为行事与我的心意相违，

“那時他們就會承認自己的罪孽和他們祖先的罪孽，就是他們對我不忠的過犯，又承認因為行事與我的心意相違，

『他們若承認自己的罪愆、和他們祖宗的罪愆、就是他們的不忠實、對我不忠實、並且行事跟我作對。

是時必承己愆、及前人之罪、自認所行逆我、

如其能任己愆、及前人之罪、自知差失、所行逆我、

彼時必認己之罪、及其列祖之罪、即干我逆我以行之罪、

“‘ But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors— their unfaithfulness and their hostility toward me,

“‘ But suppose you admit that both you and your people who lived before you have sinned. You admit the evil and dishonest things you have done against me. And you admit you have become my enemy.

“ But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me,

“ But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me.

“ But when they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors— their unfaithfulness that they practiced against me, and how they acted with hostility toward me,

‘ But if they confess their wrongdoing and the wrongdoing of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me—

‘ But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,

And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary unto me,

“ But if they will confess their sin and the sin of their fathers— their unfaithfulness that they practiced against Me, and how they acted with hostility toward Me,

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

However, when they confess their iniquity and their ancestors’ iniquity which they committed by trespassing against me, by which they also walked in hostility against me

“‘ If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me; and also that because they walked contrary to me,

掩盖自己过犯的，不会兴盛；承认并离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

我向你告白我的罪，没有遮盖我的罪孽；我说：“我要为我的过犯向耶和华认罪”，你就赦免了我的罪愆。细拉

于是我转向主耶和华，以祷告、恳求、禁食、披麻蒙灰来寻求他。我向耶和华我的神祷告、认罪，说：“哦，主啊，大而可畏的神，你向那些爱你并遵守你诫命的人持守你的约和慈爱！我们犯了罪，行事歪曲，作恶背叛，偏离了你的诫命和法规，没有听从你的仆人众先知——他们奉你的名向我们的君王们、首领们、祖先们和这地所有的子民说话。“主啊，公义在于你；至于我们犹大人、耶路撒冷的居民，以及你驱赶到远近各地的全体以色列人，因为对你行事不忠，都满面羞耻，就像今天这样！耶和华啊，我们和我们的君王们、首领们、祖先们都满面羞耻，因为我们对你犯了罪！怜悯和赦免在于主我们的神；我们却背叛了他，没有听从耶和华我们神的话，没有遵行他藉着他的仆人众先知在我们面前所立的律法。“全体以色列人都违背、偏离了你的律法，不听从你的话；因此神的仆人摩西的律法上所记的诅咒和审判都倾泻在我们身上，因为我们对神犯了罪。神实现了他的话语，就是他针对我们、针对那些审判我们的审判官所说的，为要使极大的祸患临到我们身上；像这样在耶路撒冷所发生的祸患，在普天之下从来没有发生过。照着摩西的律法上所记的，这一切祸患都临到我们身上；然而我们却没有恳求耶和华我们神的恩宠，好使我们回转离开自己的罪孽，留心你的真理。于是耶和华有意使这祸患临到我们身上，因为耶和华我们的神所做的一切都是公义的，但我们却没有听从他的话。“主我们的神哪，你曾用大能的手把你的子民从埃及地领出来，为自己成就了名声，就像今天这样；我们犯了罪，做了恶！主啊，现在求你照着你一切的公义，从你的城耶路撒冷和你的圣山收回你的怒气和你的怒火！因我们的罪过和我们祖先的罪孽，耶路撒冷和你的子民成了我们四围所有的人辱骂的对象。“我们的神哪，现在求你垂听你仆人的祷告和恳求；主啊，为你自己的缘故，求你使你的脸照亮你荒凉的圣所！我的神哪，求你侧耳听，求你垂听！求你睁开眼睛观看我们的荒凉和这被称为你名下的城，因为我们在你面前呈上的恳求不是因着我们的义，而是因着你丰盛的怜悯。主啊，求你垂听！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你留心听并且行动！我的神哪，为你自己的缘故，求你不要迟延，因为你的城和你的子民都是被称为你名下的。”我还在说话、祷告，承认我的罪和我民以色列的罪，并为我神的圣山在耶和华我的神面前呈上恳求——

我要起来，到我父亲那里去，对他说：‘父亲，我对天犯了罪，也在你面前犯了罪。我再也不配称为你的儿子，请把我当做你的一个雇工吧。’
