“当那地荒凉，你们又住在仇敌之地的时候，地就享受安息；那地要休歇，享受安息。因为你们居住在那里的时候，地不能在你们的安息年中享受安息，唯有在荒凉的日子，才可享安息。

这样，就应验了耶和华藉耶利米所说的话：直到这地享满了安息，因为这地在荒凉的日子，就享安息，直到满了七十年。

“六年之内你要耕种田地，收取地的出产；

耶和华对他说：“这就是我曾经向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我要把这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我让你亲眼看见了，可是你不能过到那边去。”

至高者把地业赐给列国的时候，把人类分开的时候，就照着以色列子孙的数目，立定了万民的境界。

这是你们完全休歇的安息日，并要刻苦己心；从这月初九晚上，到次日晚上，你们要守安息日。”

是我用大能和伸出来的膀臂创造了大地，以及地面上的人和兽；我看给谁适合，就把地给谁。

“你要上这亚巴琳山去，就是尼波山，在耶利哥对面的摩押地，观看我赐给以色列人为业的迦南地。

然后必冲入犹大，涨溢泛滥，直到颈项，以马内利啊！它展开的翅膀必遮遍你广阔的地土。”

“你们进了我赐给你们作产业的迦南地的时候，我给你们作产业之地的房屋，如果发霉，

地和地上所充满的，世界和住在世上的，都是属于耶和华的。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）因为他把地奠定在海上，使世界安定在众水之上。

天属于耶和华，地，他却赐给了世人。
