The priest is to wave the two lambs before the Lord as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the Lord for the priest.

耶和華對亞倫說：“我已經把保留歸我的舉祭，就是以色列人一切分別為聖的物，都賜給你和你的子孫，作為永遠應得的分。以色列人所獻一切不經過火、至聖的供物，就是一切素祭、一切贖罪祭和一切贖愆祭，都要作至聖的物，歸給你和你的子孫。你要在至聖的地方吃，凡是男的都可以吃；你要以此物為聖。以色列人禮物中的舉祭，與他們的搖祭，都是你的；我已經給了你和你的兒女，作為永遠應得的分；在你家中潔淨的人都可以吃。最好的油、最好的新酒和五穀，就是以色列人獻給耶和華的初熟的物，我都賜給你。

要從你們的住處把兩個餅帶來作搖祭，每個是用細麵兩公斤，加酵烤成的，當作初熟之物獻給耶和華。

我們既然在你們中間撒了屬靈的種子，如果要從你們那裡收穫一些物質的供應，這算是過分嗎？

你要把這一切都放在亞倫和他兒子的手上；你要在耶和華面前把他們搖動作搖祭。

“在至高之處，榮耀歸與神！在地上，平安歸與他所喜悅的人！”

“你要告訴以色列人：向耶和華獻平安祭的，必須從他的平安祭中取出奉給耶和華的供物。親手把獻給耶和華的火祭帶來，就是把脂肪連胸帶來，在耶和華面前搖一搖，作為搖祭。祭司要把脂肪焚燒在祭壇上，胸歸給亞倫和他的子孫。你們要從平安祭牲中，拿右後腿來作舉祭，奉給祭司。亞倫的子孫中，誰獻平安祭牲的血和脂肪，右後腿就歸給他，是他的分。因為我從以色列人的平安祭中，取出了這搖祭的胸和舉祭的後腿，給亞倫祭司和他的子孫，成為以色列人中永遠的律例。
