You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt. You shall observe and do these statutes.

Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.

They ate unleavened cakes and parched grain of the produce of the land on the next day after the Passover, in the same day.The manna ceased on the next day, after they had eaten of the produce of the land. The children of Israel didn’t have manna any more, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

You are to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Yahweh has spoken to them by Moses.”
