他要在聖的地方在水中洗身，穿上衣服，出來，把自己的燔祭和人民的燔祭獻上，為本身又為人民行除罪禮。解罪祭牲的脂肪、他要燻在祭壇上。那放公山羊歸阿撒瀉勒的人要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗身，然後進營。那作為解罪祭的公牛、和作為解罪祭的公山羊、牠們的血既被帶入、在聖所裏做除罪物，牠們的身體就要搬出營外；牠們的皮、跟肉和糞、都要用火去燒。燒的人要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗身，然後進營。

哈該又說：『若有因死人而不潔淨的觸着這些東西的任何一件，這東西算為不潔淨麼？』祭司回答說：『該算為不潔淨。』
