Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.

Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.

Do not bring an animal that has any flaws. If you do, the Lord will not accept it from you.

You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you.

nor shall you offer any of these animals taken from the hand of a foreigner as the food of your God; for their deformity is in them, they have an impairment. They will not be accepted for you.’ ”

but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

You also say,‘ See, how tiresome it is!’ And you view it as trivial,” says the Lord of armies,“ and you bring what was taken by robbery and what is lame or sick; so you bring the offering! Should I accept it from your hand?” says the Lord.“ But cursed be the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great King,” says the Lord of armies,“ and My name is feared among the nations.”
