“ Speak to Aaron, saying,‘ None of your descendants throughout their generations who has an impairment shall approach to offer the food of his God.

告亞倫云、凡爾歷世子孫、厥體有疵者、勿近其上帝而獻食、

告亞倫、凡爾歷代子孫、體有不備者、勿享上帝。

爾告亞倫云、爾歷代後裔、凡有殘疾者、毋許就近獻祭以饗其天主、

“ Say to Aaron:‘ For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God.

“ Speak to Aaron. Tell him,‘ No man in your family line with any flaws may come near to offer food to the Lord. This is true for all time to come.

“ Speak to Aaron, saying, None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a blemish may approach to offer the bread of his God.

“ Give the following instructions to Aaron: In all future generations, none of your descendants who has any defect will qualify to offer food to his God.

“ Tell Aaron: None of your descendants throughout your generations who has a physical defect is to come near to present the food of his God.

“ Speak to Aaron, saying:‘ No man of your descendants in succeeding generations, who has any defect, may approach to offer the bread of his God.

Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed throughout their generations that hath a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

“ Tell Aaron: None of your descendants throughout your generations who has a physical defect is to come near to present the food of his God.

Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever[ he be] of thy seed in their generations that hath[ any] blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

“ Tell Aaron,‘ No man from your descendants throughout their generations who has a physical flaw is to approach to present the food of his God.

“ Say to Aaron,‘ None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to offer the bread of his God.

Blessed is the one You choose and allow to approach You; He will dwell in Your courtyards. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

and he spoke to Korah and all his group, saying,“ Tomorrow morning the Lord will make known who is His, and who is holy, and will bring that one near to Himself; indeed, the one whom He will choose, He will bring near to Himself.

An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, self controlled, respectable, hospitable, skillful in teaching,

Then the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire to the Lord.

For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has an impairment is to come forward to offer the Lord’s offerings by fire; since he has an impairment, he shall not come forward to offer the food of his God.

Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.When someone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or for a voluntary offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be without defect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.Those that are blind, fractured, maimed, or have a wart, a festering rash, or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the Lord.Now as for an ox or a lamb which has an overgrown or stunted member, you may present it as a voluntary offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted.Also anything with its testicles squashed, crushed, torn off, or cut off, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor sacrifice in your land,nor shall you offer any of these animals taken from the hand of a foreigner as the food of your God; for their deformity is in them, they have an impairment. They will not be accepted for you.’ ”

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how devoutly and rightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers;

They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, because they present the offerings by fire to the Lord, the food of their God; so they shall be holy.

The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; all fat is the Lord’s.
