我就要向那人和他的家板着臉，把他和一切隨從他變節的、就是變節去服事摩洛的人、都從他的族人中剪除掉。

我必罰之、及其眷聚、凡縱私欲奉摩洛、效彼為非者、絕之民中。

我必向彼及其眷屬震怒、將彼及凡效其妄為行邪拜摩洛者、悉絕之於民中、

I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molek.

Then I will turn against that man and his family. I will separate them from their people. I will also separate all those who follow him by joining themselves to Molek. They are not faithful to me.

then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech.

我必察罰她拜巴力的節日向巴力燻祭的罪；那時她用她的耳環和珠寶裝飾自己，跟着她的愛人走，我呢、她卻忘了；永恆主發神諭說。

他們不可再宰祭牲獻給野山羊神，就是他們變節所服事的；這要給他們做世世代代永遠的條例。

『凡屬以色列家的人、或是你們中間寄居的外僑、喫任何血、我總要向那喫血的人板着臉，把他從他的族人中剪除掉。

這樣他們就因所作的而蒙不潔，也以惡行為而變節事奉別的神了。

你向無草木的高處舉目看吧！在哪一個地方你沒有受過蹧蹋？你坐在路旁等候情人，好像亞拉伯人在曠野埋伏着一樣：你竟用你的淫行和邪惡把這地都沾污了。

我必使他們有同一的心和同一的行徑，好叫他們日日不斷地敬畏我，使他們和他們以後的子孫都得到福樂。

因此永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必將這城交於迦勒底人手中，交於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中，使他攻取這城。攻擊這城的迦勒底人必來，放火焚燒這城和它的房屋，因為在那些房頂上人曾燻祭獻與巴力，澆奠祭獻與別的神，來惹我發怒。因為以色列人和猶大人自從幼年以來就只是行我所看為壞的事，以色列就只是以他們的手所作的來惹我發怒：這是永恆主發神諭說的。因為這城自從人建造它那一天、直到今日、就常激我的怒氣和烈怒，以致我須將這城從我面前除掉。這是因為以色列人和猶大人一切的壞事，就是他們、他們的列王和首領、他們的祭司和神言人、以及猶大的人和耶路撒冷的居民所行，來惹我發怒的。他們是以背向着我，不是以面；我雖教訓他們，又及時又屢次地教訓，他們卻不聽而接受管教；竟把他們可憎之像立在稱為我名下的殿中，來污瀆它。他們築了巴力的邱壇，就是那在欣嫩子平谷的，去讓自己的兒女經過火而獻歸摩洛；他們行了這可厭惡的事、使猶大陷於罪裏，這並不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心裏所起意過的呀。

不可敬拜它們，也不可事奉它們，因為我永恆主你的上帝是忌邪的上帝；恨我的、我必察罰他們的罪愆、從父親到兒子、到三四代。

他們的母親行了淫亂；懷了他們的、行了羞恥事；因為她說：「我要跟着我的愛人；我的餅、我的水、我的羊毛、我的麻、我的油、我喝的酒、都是他們給的。」
