人把他的後裔獻給摩洛，這地的人若掩目不看，不把他處死，

那人把儿女献给摩洛，本地人若佯为不见，不把他治死，

那人把儿女献给摩洛，本地的百姓若假装没看见，不把他处死，

那人把儿女献给摩洛，本地的百姓若假装没看见，不把他处死，

如果那地方的人对此置之不理，没有处死那人，

如果有人把他的儿子献给摩洛，而本地的人掩目不看，不把他处死，

那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地人若佯為不見，不把他治死，

那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地的百姓若假裝沒看見，不把他處死，

那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地的百姓若假裝沒看見，不把他處死，

如果那地方的人對此置之不理，沒有處死那人，

如果有人把他的兒子獻給摩洛，而本地的人掩目不看，不把他處死，

若斯土之民、見其獻子女於摩洛、佯為不見、不致之死、

若鄰里目擊其事、佯為不見、不置之死、

彼以子女獻摩洛、若本處之民、偽為不見而不殺之、

If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Molek and if they fail to put him to death,

Suppose the members of the community act like they don’t know that the man has sacrificed his child to Molek. And suppose they don’t put him to death.

And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,

And if the people of the community ignore those who offer their children to Molech and refuse to execute them,

But if the people of the country look the other way when that man gives any of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,

If the people of the land, however, should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his children to Molech, so as not to put him to death,

And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him,

And if the people at the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and put him not to death;

But if the people of the country look the other way when that man gives any of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,

And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

If, however, the people of the land shut their eyes to that man when he gives some of his children to Molech so that they do not put him to death,

If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death,

你都不可依順他，不可聽從他；你的眼不可顧惜他；你不要可憐他，不可藏匿他；

『在你中間、在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的任一座城內、若發現有男人或女人行永恆主你的上帝所看為壞的事，越犯了他的約，去事奉敬拜別的神，也拜日頭或月亮、或是任何天象、是我所沒有吩咐拜的；有人告訴了你，你也聽見了，那麼你就要仔細地查究；若這事實真地成立了，真有這可厭惡的事行於以色列中，那麼你就要將行這壞事的那個男人、或是女人、拉出來、到城門那裏，拿石頭打那男人或女人，打到他們死去。

這樣，無知的時候、上帝不加細察，如今卻囑咐各處的人都要悔改。

不過我有一點要責備你的，就是你有執守巴蘭教訓的人在你那裏。這巴蘭教導了巴勒將絆跌物丟在以色列人面前，叫他們喫祭偶像之物並行邪淫、變節去拜偶像。

因此以色列人在他們仇敵面前立不住，在仇敵面前轉背逃跑，因為他們成了該被毁滅歸神的。你們若不把該被毁滅歸神之物從你們中間消滅掉，我就不再和你們同在了。

他便對王說：『永恆主這麼說：「因為你將我要殺滅歸神的人從你手中放走，故此你的性命就必須代替他的性命，你的人民就必須代替他的人民。」』

我必使他知道，為了他所知道的罪孽我必永遠判罰他的家，因為他的兒子自招咒詛，他也不斥責他們。所以我向以利家起誓說：以利家的罪孽就使用肉祭和供物、也永遠不能得赦除。』
