Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by eating any“ unclean” animal or bird. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by eating anything that moves along the ground. I have set all of them apart as“ unclean” for you.

You shall therefore separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the unclean bird from the clean. You shall not make yourselves detestable by beast or by bird or by anything with which the ground crawls, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean.

“ You must therefore make a distinction between ceremonially clean and unclean animals, and between clean and unclean birds. You must not defile yourselves by eating any unclean animal or bird or creature that scurries along the ground. I have identified them as being unclean for you.

Therefore you are to distinguish the clean animal from the unclean one, and the unclean bird from the clean one. Do not become contaminated by any land animal, bird, or whatever crawls on the ground; I have set these apart as unclean for you.

就對他們說：“你們知道，猶太人本來是不准和外國人接近來往的，但神已經指示了我，不可把任何人當作凡俗或不潔的。

所以，不要與他們同流合污。你們從前是黑暗的，現今在主裡卻是光明的，行事為人就應當像光明的兒女。光明所結的果子，就是一切良善、公義、誠實。你們要察驗甚麼是主所喜悅的。不要參與暗昧無益的事，倒要把它揭露出來，

看見天開了，有一件東西，好像一塊大布，綁著四角，降在地上。裡面有地上的各樣四足牲畜，還有昆蟲和天空的飛鳥。有聲音對他說：“彼得，起來，宰了吃！”彼得說：“主啊，千萬不可！我從來不吃俗物和不潔的東西。”第二次又有聲音對他說：“神所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。”
