‘ You shall stand up in the presence of the grayheaded and honor elders, and you shall fear your God; I am the Lord.

“‘ Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.

“‘ Stand up in order to show your respect for old people. Also have respect for me. I am the Lord your God.

“ You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

The glory of young men is their strength, And the honor of old men is their gray hair.

A gray head is a crown of glory; It is found in the way of righteousness.

Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.
