“不可辱没你的女儿，使她为娼妓，恐怕地上的人专向淫乱，地就满了大恶。

“不可侮辱你的女儿，使她沦为娼妓，免得这地行淫乱，地就充满了邪恶。

『以色列的女子中不可有廟妓，以色列的男子中不可有男性廟倡。妓女所得的銀錢和狗倡所得的代價、你不可帶進永恆主你的上帝的殿來還願，因為這兩樣都是永恆主你的上帝所厭惡的。

他們求問着木頭，其指揮棍就指示他們；因為行淫的心使他們失迷，他們就行淫、離棄了他們的上帝、不肯在他手下。他們在各山頂獻祭物，在各岡陵上燻祭，在聖橡樹楊樹篤耨香樹之下獻祭燻祭，因為樹的影兒好；故此你們的女兒就行淫，你們的兒媳婦就犯了姦淫。我卻不因你們女兒的行淫而察罰她們，也不因你們兒媳婦之犯姦淫而懲辦她們；因為宗教領袖們自己也離羣而跟淫婦同居，他們自己也同廟妓行淫而獻祭；無知識的人民準會敗倒的。

他們不可娶妓女或被污辱的女人為妻，也不可娶被丈夫離婚的女人為妻；因為祭司是成聖別歸他的上帝的。

豈不知你們的身體就是基督的肢體麼？那麼、我豈可以拿基督的肢體、去做妓女的肢體呢？斷乎不可。
