Ye shall not eat anything with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantments, nor practise augury.

“‘ Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.“‘ Do not practice divination or seek omens.

“‘ Do not eat any meat that still has blood in it.“‘ Do not practice any kind of evil magic.

“ You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes.

“ Do not eat meat that has not been drained of its blood.“ Do not practice fortune telling or witchcraft.

“ You are not to eat anything with blood in it. You are not to practice divination or witchcraft.

‘ You shall not eat any meat with the blood. You shall not practice divination nor soothsaying.

Ye shall not eat[ any thing] with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.

He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practised augury, and used enchantments, and practised sorcery, and dealt with them that had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.

It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that ye shall eat neither fat nor blood.

And ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of bird or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou shalt not eat the life with the flesh.

And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, that eateth any manner of blood, I will set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, who taketh in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.For as to the life of all flesh, the blood thereof is all one with the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh; for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers: and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did in like manner with their enchantments.

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can show the king’s matter, forasmuch as no king, lord, or ruler, hath asked such a thing of any magician, or enchanter, or Chaldean.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner from his right, and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.

thus saith Jehovah, Learn not the way of the nations, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the nations are dismayed at them.

And the magicians did in like manner with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.
