“‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

“‘ Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

“‘ Do not make something wrong appear to be right. Treat poor people and rich people in the same way. Do not favor one person over another. Instead, judge everyone fairly.

“ You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

“ Do not twist justice in legal matters by favoring the poor or being partial to the rich and powerful. Always judge people fairly.

“ Do not act unjustly when deciding a case. Do not be partial to the poor or give preference to the rich; judge your neighbor fairly.

‘ You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not show partiality to the poor nor give preference to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.

These also are sayings of the wise. To show partiality in judgment is not good.

“‘ You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

“ You shall not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.“ Keep far from a false charge, and don’t kill the innocent and righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.“ You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous.

“ You shall not follow a crowd to do evil. You shall not testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice.You shall not favor a poor man in his cause.

“ How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.

But you have dishonored the poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?Don’t they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?However, if you fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.

‘ Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, fatherless, and widow.’ All the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light.You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to Yahweh your God.

To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

and said to the judges,“ Consider what you do, for you don’t judge for man, but for Yahweh; and he is with you in the judgment.Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.”

Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men which fear God: men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
