以下也是智慧人的話：審判的時候看人的情面是不對的。

“你們審判的時候，在度、量、衡上，都不可偏差。

不可屈枉正直，不可徇人的情面，不可收受賄賂，因為賄賂能使智慧人的眼變瞎，也能使義人的話顛倒過來。

不可在窮人訴訟的事上歪曲正義。要遠離虛假的事；不可殺無辜和正義的人，因為我決不以惡人為義人。不可受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人變瞎，又能歪曲義人的話。

不可隨眾行惡，不可在訴訟的事上隨眾說歪曲正義的話；也不可在訴訟的事上偏護窮人。

“你們不按公義審判，偏袒惡人，要到幾時呢？（細拉）

然而你們卻侮辱窮人。其實，那些欺壓你們，拉你們上法庭的，不就是富足的人嗎？難道不是他們褻瀆那召你們的尊名嗎？（或譯：“難道不是他們毀謗你們蒙召的美名嗎？”）你們若照著聖經所說“要愛人如己”這話，去完成這至尊的律法，你們就作對了。如果你們憑外貌待人，就是犯罪，律法就要裁定你們是犯法的。

“‘對寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’

“你袋裡不可有兩樣不同的法碼，一大一小；你家裡不可有兩樣不同的升斗，一大一小。你要有準確公正的法碼，你要有準確公正的升斗，好使你在耶和華你的神賜給你的地上，得享長壽。因為所有行這些事的，就是行不義的事的，都是耶和華你的神厭惡的。

在審判時，偏袒惡人、屈枉義人，是不對的。

他對他們說：“你們行事，必須謹慎；因為你們審判，不是為人，而是為耶和華；你們審判的時候，耶和華必和你們同在。現在你們要敬畏耶和華；你們要謹慎行事，因為耶和華我們的神沒有不義，不偏待人，也不受賄賂。”

你要從人民中間選出有才能的人，就是敬畏神、忠實可信、恨惡不義之財的人，設立他們作千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長，去管理人民，
