“ You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages of a hired worker shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

“ Do not defraud or rob your neighbor.“ Do not make your hired workers wait until the next day to receive their pay.

“ Do not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages due a hired worker must not remain with you until morning.

穫爾田之傭、不給其值、則籲呼升聞於萬有之主、

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必涖臨、降災於爾、凡巫覡行淫之子、妄誓之輩、奪傭人之值、虐遇孤寡、使賓旅不得伸其枉屈、而不敬畏我者、必速降以罰。

傭人貧乏、無論同族及旅於爾家者、爾毋虐取。屆期必給以值、日未沒時給之、蓋其貧乏、希望惟此、若其不得、恐呼籲耶和華、以罪歸爾。

權衡法度、不一其制、耶和華所疾。

耶和華曰、爾居斯土、當秉公義、凡受暴者、爾其拯救、賓旅孤寡、爾無虐遇、勿殺無辜、

夫諸誡爾所識也、毋行淫、毋殺人、毋攘竊、毋妄證、勿以不義取人、敬爾父母、

我怒必烈、以刃誅爾、寡爾妻、孤爾子。如我民貧乏、而爾貸以金、毋取利、毋迫索。如取人衣為質、日入必反之、彼以衣蔽體、無此則不能安寢、蓋我以矜憫為懷、彼若籲我、我必俯聽。

斯土之民、虐遇人、強暴人、挾制貧乏、侮慢羈旅、

如弗能獲、則解受托之人於士師、察其果取人物與否。毋論牛羊驢衣服諸物、已失之後、為事主認明者、必見士師、兩造具備、聽士師所斷、償之維倍。

人以非義之利、建造宅第、用人之力、不償其工者、禍必不遠、

坐於公庭、毋凌貧乏、毋虐煢獨。

拾人所遺、詭云未得、不論所為、誑言發誓、於是陷罪、

慾不可縱、傷乃良朋、主必伸其冤、我素丁寧告爾、

畜主在、則不償、如為人僱、既受其值、則毋庸償。

如被斷傷、即以斷傷示之、而不償。

毋侮旅人、緣昔爾曹旅於埃及故也。
