毋跪拜崇事其神、不可效其所為、必盡滅之、悉毀其偶像、

我諭之曰、爾曹各當棄爾目所羨慕可憎之物、勿因伊及之偶像、自染污穢、我乃主爾之天主、惟彼悖逆我、不願聽我、不棄其目所羨慕可憎之物、不舍伊及之偶像、我言將震怒斯民、發我盛忿、滅之在伊及地、我言將震怒斯民發我盛忿滅之在伊及地或作我言將在伊及地震怒斯民洩盡我之盛忿在其身

我於爾前所將逐之諸族、毋從其習俗、彼等行此惡事、故我憎之、

使爾曹今後不從人慾、而順天主之旨、以度在世所餘之光陰、我從異邦人之意、邪侈、縱慾、放飲、饕餮、沈湎、更行拜偶像可憎之事、往時如是已足矣、彼見爾不與之同淫佚放蕩、則異而謗爾、

彼見滅於爾前之後、慎毋隨其惡俗陷於罪網、毋求其所敬之神、毋自言此諸國之民、如何事其諸神、我亦欲如是行、彼事其神、凡主所憎所惡之事皆作、甚至焚子女於火、以事其神、爾事主爾之天主、斷不可如是而行、

當其幼年尚為處子時、在伊及行淫、人與其同寢、撫捫其乳、玷污其身、斯其淫行仍然不舍、

爾曹不可效彼所行、以奉事主爾之天主、

主如是云、勿傚異邦人之習俗、異邦人雖因天象之兆畏懼、爾勿畏懼、蓋異邦人之禮儀虛偽、所敬者乃木、伐於林中、工師以斧製之、

勿效乎此世、爾心維新而自化、使爾明辨天主之旨、其旨至善可悅且純全者也、

故勿與之同群、爾昔為暗、今信主而為光、當如光明之人而行、聖神所結之果、乃仁與義與誠、當察何者為主所悅之事、暗昩無益之事、勿與人同行、惟當責之、

與異邦人雜處、遂效其習俗、

爾毋行此沾污己身、我於爾前所將逐之諸族皆行之、自取沾污、其地亦染污穢、緣此我討居民之罪、使地不容之、原文作使地吐其居民故爾曹無論土著、及寄居爾中之外邦客旅、皆當遵守我之律例法度、毋行此可憎之事、在爾以前居此地之民、行此一切可憎之事、使地染污穢、爾若亦玷污斯地、惟恐地不容不容原文作吐下同爾、如不容在爾以前之居民然、此一切可憎之事、凡行之者必滅絕於民中、必謹守我所命爾當守者、在爾以前之人可憎之惡俗、毋習染自污、我乃主爾之天主、
