After a man and a woman have sexual intercourse, they must each bathe in water, and they will remain unclean until the next evening.

When a man has sexual relations with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both of them must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.

Suppose a man sleeps with a woman. And suppose semen flows from his body and touches both of them. Then they must take a bath. They will be“ unclean” until evening.

If a man lies with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them shall bathe themselves in water and be unclean until the evening.

If a man sleeps with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them are to bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening.

If a man sleeps with a woman so that there is a seminal emission, they shall both bathe in water and be unclean until evening.

Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

The woman also with whom a man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

If a man sleeps with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them are to bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening.

You say,“ I am allowed to do anything”— but not everything is good for you. And even though“ I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.

So if you touch the man’s bed, you must wash your clothes and bathe yourself in water, and you will remain unclean until evening.

Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes— these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him.Don’t participate in the things these people do.For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.

God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.

“ We don’t have any regular bread,” the priest replied.“ But there is the holy bread, which you can have if your young men have not slept with any women recently.”“ Don’t worry,” David replied.“ I never allow my men to be with women when we are on a campaign. And since they stay clean even on ordinary trips, how much more on this one!”

Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.

He told them,“ Get ready for the third day, and until then abstain from having sexual intercourse.”

Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Dear friends, I warn you as“ temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls.

With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused.Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him.They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity.

Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
