摩押的居民哪，要离开城邑，住在山崖里，像鸽子在深渊口上搭窝。

“他的力量若不够献一只羊羔，就要因所犯的罪，把两只斑鸠或是两只雏鸽带到耶和华面前为赎愆祭：一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭。

我像燕子呢喃，像白鹤鸣叫，又像鸽子哀鸣；我因仰观，眼睛困倦。耶和华啊，我受欺压，求你为我作保。

你们安卧在羊圈的时候，好像鸽子的翅膀镀白银，翎毛镀黄金一般。

我们咆哮如熊，哀鸣如鸽；指望公平，却是没有；指望救恩，却远离我们。
