He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

He must take hold of the wings of the bird and tear it open. But he must not tear it in two. Then the priest will burn it on the wood burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering. It is a food offering. Its smell pleases the Lord.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of[ our] lips giving thanks to his name.But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer[ that] which[ is] for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide[ it] asunder:

Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar,[ to be] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.And if his offering[ be] of the flocks,[ namely], of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.
