He is to remove the crop and the feathers and throw them down east of the altar where the ashes are.

The priest must remove the small bag inside the bird’s throat. He must also remove the feathers. Then he must throw them to the east side of the altar. That is where the ashes are.

He shall remove its crop with its contents and cast it beside the altar on the east side, in the place for ashes.

天使回答說：「聖靈要臨到你身上，至高者的能力要蔭庇你，所以你要生的那聖嬰必稱為上帝的兒子。

作贖罪祭的公牛和公山羊的血被帶進聖所用來贖罪，要把公牛和公山羊帶到營外，用火焚燒牠們的皮、肉和糞。

早晨，祭司要穿上細麻衣袍和內衣，將燔祭壇上的灰燼清理好，放在祭壇旁邊。然後，他要更換衣服，把灰燼拿到營外潔淨的地方。

你們蒙揀選是按照父上帝預先定好的旨意，藉著聖靈得以聖潔，好順服耶穌基督，並靠祂的血得到潔淨。願上帝賜給你們豐豐富富的恩典和平安！

大祭司把祭牲的血帶進聖所作為贖罪祭獻上，而祭牲的身體則在營外燒掉。同樣，耶穌也在城門外受難，為要用自己的血使祂的子民聖潔。因此，讓我們也走出營外到祂那裡，忍受祂所忍受的凌辱吧！我們在地上沒有永遠的城，我們尋求的是那將來的城。
