野狗尚且把奶頭給崽子喫奶，我的眾民倒殘忍，像曠野的鴕鳥一樣啊！

野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的妇人倒成为残忍，好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。

野狗尚且哺乳其子，我百姓的妇人反倒残忍，如旷野的鸵鸟一般；

豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。

野狗尚且用乳房哺养它们的幼儿；但我的众民变得多么残忍，像旷野的鸵鸟一样。

Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless like ostriches in the desert.

因此在你中間父親必喫兒子，兒子必喫父親；我必向你施行判罰，使你餘剩之民都四散於四方。

在他們被圍困被窘迫之中、就是當仇敵和尋索他們性命的人窘迫他們之時、我必使他們喫自己兒女的肉，各人喫朋友的肉。」

『鴕鳥的翅膀難道是遲笨的？或是牠沒有翎翼和羽毛，以致須把蛋下在地上，使它們在塵土中得溫暖，卻忘了有腳能踹着它，有野獸能踐踏着它呀？牠忍心待雛，似乎看作非自己的；雖白白勞苦也不怕；

慈心的婦人，親手煮自己生的孩子；當我眾民遭破毁時，親生孩子做了自己的食品。

他必將你圍困在你各城內，直到你所倚靠高大堅固的城牆在你遍地都被攻下；他必將你圍困在你各城內、在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的遍地。你的仇敵窘迫你、你在被圍困被窘迫時、必喫你腹中的果子、就是永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的兒女的肉。你中間柔弱而極嬌嫩的人必惡眉惡眼斜視着他弟兄、和他懷中的妻、跟他所剩下的兒女；甚至在你的仇敵窘迫你、而你在各城內被圍困被窘迫時、他所要喫的兒女的肉、他也不肯分一點給他的親人，因為他一無所剩。你中間柔弱嬌養的婦人素來因嬌養柔弱未曾試把腳掌踏地的、必惡眉惡眼斜視着她懷中的丈夫和她的兒女；連從她兩腿間出的胞衣和她所要生的兒女、在你的仇敵把你窘迫在你各城內、而你在被圍困窘迫時、她因樣樣缺乏、也必將胞衣和生兒暗暗地喫掉。

永恆主啊，看吧！鑒察吧！看你向誰這樣加罰過！婦人哪能喫自己所生育的，喫自己撫弄的嬰孩呢？祭司和神言人哪可在主的聖所中被殺戮呢？

你們必喫自己兒子們的肉，你們自己女兒們的肉、你們也要喫。

耶穌轉過身來，對她們說：『耶路撒冷的女子啊，別為我哭了！只要為你們自己和你們的兒女哭。因為日子必到，你就看吧，那時人必說：「那不能生育的、那沒有生產過的胎、沒有乳養過的胸、有福啊！」

良知蒙昧的、不守約的、無親情的、不憐恤人的。

有一次以色列王在城牆上經過，有一個婦人向他哀叫說：『我主我王啊，拯救哦！』王說：『不；願永恆主拯救！我從哪裏拯救你呢？從禾場上呢？還是從酒池裏呢？』王問她說：『你怎麼啦？』她回答說：『這婦人對我說：「將你兒子交給我，讓我們今天來喫他；我兒子呢、明天我們再來喫。」我們就把我兒子煮了喫。第二天我對她說：「將你兒子交給我，讓我們來喫他呀」；她卻把自己的兒子藏起來。」

『婦人哪能忘記她嗍奶的孩子，而不憐憫她親腹生的兒子呢？就使有忘記的，但我呢、我是不會忘記你的。
