豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。

野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的妇人倒成为残忍，好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。

野狗尚且哺乳其子，我百姓的妇人反倒残忍，如旷野的鸵鸟一般；

Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless like ostriches in the desert.

在你们中间，父亲要吃自己的儿子，儿子要吃自己的父亲。我必惩罚你们，把你们余下的人分散到各地各方。”

我必使他们在敌人的围困之下陷入绝境，吃儿女和亲友的肉。’

“鸵鸟欢然拍动翅膀，它岂有白鹳的翎羽？它将蛋产在地上，使蛋得到沙土的温暖，却不知蛋会被踩碎，或遭野兽践踏。它苛待雏鸟，好像它们并非己出，就算徒劳一场，它也不怕。

我的百姓遭毁灭时，慈母亲手煮自己的儿女充饥。

在你们的上帝耶和华所赐给你们的土地上，他们要把你们围困在各个城邑中，直到你们所依赖的高大坚固的城墙都倒塌。“当你们被敌人围困、陷入绝境时，你们必吃自己的亲生骨肉——你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们的儿女。因为被敌人困在城中，饥饿难熬，连你们中间最温柔体贴的男人也要独自吞吃子女的肉，不肯分给自己的兄弟、爱妻和剩下的儿女。

“耶和华啊，求你看看，你曾这样对付过谁呢？母亲岂能吃自己的孩子？祭司和先知岂能在主的圣所中被杀？

你们要吃自己儿女的肉。

耶稣转过身来，对她们说：“耶路撒冷的女儿啊，不要为我哭，为你们自己和你们的儿女哭吧！因为日子快到了，人们将说，‘不曾生育、不曾怀孕、不曾哺乳的女子有福了！’

愚钝无知、不守信用、无情无义、毫无怜悯。

一天，以色列王从城墙上走过，一个妇人向他哭喊道：“我主我王啊，求你帮帮我！”王说：“如果耶和华不帮助你，我怎能帮助你呢？我既无粮也无酒。你有什么难处呢？”妇人说：“这个女人对我说，‘我们今天吃你儿子，明天再吃我儿子。’于是我们把我儿子煮了吃。第二天我叫她把她儿子交出来，她却把儿子藏了起来。”

耶和华说：“母亲岂能忘记自己吃奶的婴儿，不怜悯自己亲生的孩子？就算有母亲忘记，我也不会忘记你。
