敵口孔張、切齒憤聲、曰、我所望者、今日之事、斯邑吞噬、我所目睹兮。

爾之諸敵、向爾張口、嗤笑切齒、曰、我儕已吞噬之、我所望之日、今已至矣、我所目睹、

All your enemies open their mouths wide against you; they scoff and gnash their teeth and say,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for; we have lived to see it.”

All your enemies open their mouths wide against you. They laugh at you and grind their teeth. They say,“ We have swallowed up Jerusalem’s people. This is the day we’ve waited for. And we’ve lived to see it.”

All your enemies rail against you; they hiss, they gnash their teeth, they cry:“ We have swallowed her! Ah, this is the day we longed for; now we have it; we see it!”

All your enemies mock you. They scoff and snarl and say,“ We have destroyed her at last! We have long waited for this day, and it is finally here!”

All your enemies open their mouths against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth, saying,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for! We have lived to see it.”

All your enemies Have opened their mouths wide against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say,“ We have engulfed her! This certainly is the day which we awaited; We have reached it, we have seen it!”

All your enemies have opened their mouth against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say,“ We have swallowed her up! Surely this is the day we have waited for; We have found it, we have seen it!”

他們高喊：「哈哈！哈哈！我們親眼看見了。」

「我們的仇敵都幸災樂禍。

我的仇敵整日攻擊我，許多人狂妄地迫害我。

上帝在憤怒中撕裂我，迫害我，向我咬牙切齒；仇敵惡狠狠地盯著我。他們嘲笑我，輕蔑地摑我的臉，聯合起來攻擊我。

他們張口要吞噬我，如同吼叫著撕食獵物的獅子。

以色列人說：「巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞噬我們、擊垮我們，把我們洗劫一空。他像海怪一樣吞吃我們，飽餐我們的美物，然後把我們趕走。」

他們肆無忌憚地嘲弄我，咬牙切齒地憎惡我。

惡人謀害義人，對他們咬牙切齒。

向我們發怒的時候，我們早已被他們生吞，

所以你要發預言，宣告主耶和華這樣說，『你們被蹂躪、掠奪，歸了列國所有，成了外族人的話柄和笑談。

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：「我聽見了摩押人的譭謗和亞捫人的辱罵。他們譭謗我的子民，揚言侵佔他們的土地。我憑自己的永恆起誓，摩押和亞捫必刺草叢生、鹽坑遍地、永遠荒廢，如所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣。我餘下的子民必擄掠他們，我倖存的百姓必承受他們的土地。」

「主耶和華說，『你們看到以色列的災禍，便幸災樂禍，手舞足蹈。

上帝從天上施助、拯救我，使迫害我的人蒙羞。上帝必彰顯祂的慈愛和信實。

他們說：「他患了惡病，再也起不來了！」

惡人見狀，必然惱怒，咬牙切齒，氣絕身亡。惡人的盼望必破滅。

眾人聽了這番話，怒火中燒，咬牙切齒。

因為邪惡和詭詐的人開口攻擊我，用謊言譭謗我。

「主耶和華說，『非利士人心存仇恨，為了報世仇要毀滅猶大，

敵人遇見他們，就吞噬他們，還說，『我們沒有錯！這是因為他們冒犯了他們真正的安歇之處——耶和華，他們祖先的盼望——耶和華。』

以色列被吞滅了，他在列國之中，就像無用的破器皿。

告訴他們要聽主耶和華的話。主耶和華說，『當我的聖所被褻瀆，以色列變得荒涼，猶大人被擄的時候，你們竟然哈哈而樂。

你的親族遭難之日，你不該幸災樂禍；猶大人被滅的日子，你不該興高采烈；他們遭難的日子，你不該口出狂言；我子民遭難的日子，你不該闖進他們的城；他們遭難的日子，你不該幸災樂禍；他們遭難的日子，你不該趁火打劫；你不該站在路口截殺那些逃亡者；他們遭難的日子，你不該把倖存者交給仇敵。「耶和華懲罰萬國的日子近了。必按你的所作所為報應你，你的惡行必落到自己頭上。你們猶大人在我的聖山上怎樣飽飲憤怒，萬國也要照樣飲，且要大口吞下，直到他們完全消逝。

「以色列人是一群被獅子驅散的羊，先被亞述王吞噬，後被巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒咬碎骨頭。」

「你那曾經荒廢、淒涼、遭到毀壞之地現在必容不下你的居民，那些吞滅你的人必遠遠地離開你。
