主奚忿怒、以雲蔽郇女兮、以色列之榮華、自天擲地兮、發怒之日、不念其足几兮、

主怒郇邑、愁雲慘淡、以色列雖榮光焜耀、若躋穹蒼、必下墮於地兮、雖為駐蹕之所、亦所弗惜兮。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

「我們要進他的居所，在他腳凳前下拜。」

大衛王站起來，說：「我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，請聽我說！我心裏本想建造殿宇，安放耶和華的約櫃，作為我們神的腳凳，並且我已經預備了建造的材料。

我們那神聖華美的殿，就是我們祖先讚美你的地方，已被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒蕪。

我指定你為受膏的基路伯，看守保護；你在神的聖山上；往來在如火的寶石中。你從受造之日起行為正直，直到後來查出你的不義。你因貿易發達，暴力充斥其中，以致犯罪，所以我污辱你，使你離開神的山。守護者基路伯啊，我已將你從如火的寶石中殲滅。

「明亮之星，早晨之子啊，你竟然從天墜落！你這攻敗列國的，竟然被砍倒在地上！你心裏曾說：『我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座在神的眾星之上，我要坐在會眾聚集的山上，在極北的地方。我要升到高雲之上，我要與至高者同等。』然而，你必墜落陰間，到地府極深之處。

我在答比匿折斷埃及的軛，使它驕傲的權勢止息。那時，日光必退去；至於這城，必有密雲遮蔽，鄰近的城鎮也遭擄掠。

迦百農啊，你以為要被舉到天上嗎？你要被推下陰間！因為在你那裏所行的異能，若行在所多瑪，它還可以存留到今日。

當尊崇耶和華－我們的神，在他腳凳前下拜。他本為聖！

你渾身是怒氣，追趕我們；你施行殺戮，並不顧惜。你以密雲圍着自己，禱告不能穿透。

那是黑暗、陰森的日子，是密雲、烏黑的日子，如同黎明籠罩山嶺。有一隊蝗蟲，又大又強，自古以來沒有像這樣的，以後直到萬代也必沒有。

以色列啊，尊榮者在你的高處被殺！大英雄竟然仆倒！

天上發生了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍作戰，龍同牠的使者也起來應戰，牠們都打敗了，天上再也沒有牠們的地方。大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的；牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。

唉！黃金竟然無光！純金竟然變色！聖所的石頭散落在街上。

他們用所誇耀華美的妝飾製造可憎可厭的偶像，所以我使他們看它如污穢之物。我必將它交給外邦人為掠物，交給地上的惡人為擄物；他們要褻瀆它。他們褻瀆我寶貴之所，強盜也進去褻瀆它。我必轉臉不顧以色列人。

唉！先前人口稠密的城市，現在為何獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦！先前在各省中為王后的，現在竟成為服苦役的人！

『你告訴以色列家，主耶和華如此說：我要使我的聖所被褻瀆，就是你們憑勢力所誇耀、眼裏所喜愛、心中所愛惜的；並且你們所遺留的兒女必倒在刀下。

迦百農啊，你以為要被舉到天上嗎？你要被推下陰間！」

我毀滅你時，要遮蔽諸天，使眾星昏暗；我必以密雲遮掩太陽，月亮也不放光。我要使天上發亮的光體在你上面變為昏暗，使你的地也變為黑暗。這是主耶和華說的。

耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒但從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。

她給孩子起名叫以迦博，說：「榮耀離開以色列了！」這是因為神的約櫃被擄去，又因為她公公和丈夫都死了。
