主的怒氣像烏雲一樣遮蓋錫安城，祂使以色列的榮美從天上墜下。祂發怒的時候並不顧念自己的腳凳。

主奚忿怒、以雲蔽郇女兮、以色列之榮華、自天擲地兮、發怒之日、不念其足几兮、

主怒郇邑、愁雲慘淡、以色列雖榮光焜耀、若躋穹蒼、必下墮於地兮、雖為駐蹕之所、亦所弗惜兮。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

See how the Lord covered the city of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He threw Israel’s glory down from heaven to earth. When he was angry, he turned his back on his own city.

How the Lord in his anger has set the daughter of Zion under a cloud! He has cast down from heaven to earth the splendor of Israel; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

The Lord in his anger has cast a dark shadow over beautiful Jerusalem. The fairest of Israel’s cities lies in the dust, thrown down from the heights of heaven. In his day of great anger, the Lord has shown no mercy even to his Temple.

讓我們進入耶和華的居所，在祂腳前俯伏敬拜。

大衛王站起來說：「我的弟兄，我的人民啊，請聽我說。我本想建造一座殿宇安放耶和華的約櫃，作我們上帝的腳凳，我已準備好建造的材料。

我們那聖潔、華美的殿——我們祖先頌讚你的地方已被焚毀，我們珍愛的一切都被摧毀。

我膏立你為看守約櫃的基路伯天使。你在上帝的聖山上，在閃閃發光的寶石中行走。你從受造那天開始所行的純全無過，但後來在你那裡查出不義。因為貿易發達，你便充滿暴力，犯罪作惡。因此，看守約櫃的基路伯天使啊，我把你當作污穢之物逐出我的山，從閃閃發光的寶石中除掉你。

「明亮的晨星、黎明之子啊，你怎麼從天上墜落下來？你這打敗列國的怎麼被砍倒在地上？你曾想，『我要升到天上，把自己的寶座設在上帝的眾星之上；我要坐在遙遠的北方眾神明聚會的山上；我要升到雲天之上，使自己與至高者一樣。』可是，你必墜入陰間，掉進死亡的深坑。

我粉碎埃及勢力的那天，答比匿日月無光，她的銳氣全消。烏雲要籠罩她，她城邑的居民要被擄去。

「迦百農啊，你將被提升到天上嗎？不！你將被打落到陰間。因為若把在你那裡所行的神蹟行在所多瑪，它肯定會存留到今天。

要尊崇我們的上帝耶和華，俯伏在祂腳凳前敬拜，祂是聖潔的。

「你滿懷憤怒地追趕我們，毫不留情地殺戮我們。你以密雲遮蓋自己，以致禱告達不到你那裡。

那將是烏雲密佈、天昏地暗的日子。來了一支空前絕後、強盛無比的蝗蟲大軍，牠們像曙光一樣佈滿山頭。

「以色列啊，你榮耀的王伏屍山上，偉大的勇士竟然倒下！

天上起了戰爭，米迦勒和他的天使出戰巨龍。巨龍和牠的天使極力抵抗，那巨龍敗下陣來，天上再沒有牠們的立足之地，牠和牠的天使都一同從天上被摔到地上。巨龍就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人類的。

黃金竟失去光澤，純金竟變色，寶石竟被棄之街頭。

他們以華美的飾物為驕傲，並用它製造醜惡可憎的神像，因此，我必使這一切變成他們眼中的污穢之物。我必使這一切成為外族人手中的獵物，惡人手中的戰利品，被任意糟蹋。我必轉臉不看他們，任由外族人褻瀆我的殿，強盜必進入殿裡大肆褻瀆。

從前人煙稠密的城，現在何其荒涼！從前揚威萬邦的強國，現在竟像寡婦一樣。從前在諸省做公主的，現在卻淪為奴婢。

『你告訴以色列人，我要使我的聖所，就是你們引以為傲、眼中所愛、心裡所慕的受到褻瀆。你們留下的兒女必死於刀下。

「迦百農啊，你將被提升到天上嗎？不！你將被打落到陰間。」

當我消滅你的時候，我要用雲遮蔽天空，使日月無光，星辰昏暗。我要遮蔽天上所有的光，使黑暗籠罩你的四境。這是主耶和華說的。

耶穌回答說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜下。

她給孩子取名叫以迦博，意思是：「榮耀離開以色列了」。這是因為上帝的約櫃被擄走，她的公公和丈夫都死了。
