遂語眾曰、慎戒貪婪、蓋人之生、不在所蓄之豐裕也、

其轉我目、不視虛妄、甦我於爾道兮、

深匿其謀於耶和華前、行事於暗者曰、誰見我、誰識我、禍哉斯人、

故當滅爾在地之肢體、即淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾、及貪婪、貪婪與拜像一也、

眈眈者急於獲財、不知窮乏之將至、

上帝子見其豔麗、隨意遴選、娶以為室、

此後、耶斯列人拿伯、有葡萄園在耶斯列、鄰於撒瑪利亞王亞哈之宮、亞哈謂拿伯曰、爾之葡萄園、鄰於我宮、給我為圃、我易以尤佳之園、爾若欲得其值、我則予爾以金、

圖富有者、乃陷於誘惑機檻、及無知有害之諸慾、溺人於滅亡者也、蓋好利為萬惡之根、有慕之者、迷失乎信、以多苦自刺、○
