於是約書亞誓曰、凡建耶利哥、當服詛於耶和華前、築基時、必喪長子、置門時、必喪季子。

当时，约书亚叫众人起誓说：“有兴起重修这耶利哥城的人，当在耶和华面前受咒诅。他立根基的时候，必丧长子，安门的时候，必丧幼子。”

At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath:“ Cursed before the Lord is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho:“ At the cost of his firstborn son he will lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest he will set up its gates.”

At that time Joshua made a promise and called down a curse. He said,“ May the person who tries to rebuild this city of Jericho be under the Lord’ s curse.“ If that person lays its foundations, it will cost the life of his oldest son. If he sets up its gates, it will cost the life of his youngest son.”

Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying,“ Cursed before the Lord be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho.“ At the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.”

At that time Joshua invoked this curse:“ May the curse of the Lord fall on anyone who tries to rebuild the town of Jericho. At the cost of his firstborn son, he will lay its foundation. At the cost of his youngest son, he will set up its gates.”

At that time Joshua imposed this curse: The man who undertakes the rebuilding of this city, Jericho, is cursed before the LORD. He will lay its foundation at the cost of his firstborn; he will finish its gates at the cost of his youngest.

Then Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying,“ Cursed before the Lord is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”

Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying,“ Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.”

And Joshua charged them with an oath at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before Jehovah, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: with the loss of his first- born shall he lay the foundation thereof, and with the loss of his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

At that time Joshua imposed this curse: The man who undertakes the rebuilding of this city, Jericho, is cursed before the Lord. He will lay its foundation at the cost of his firstborn; he will set up its gates at the cost of his youngest.

And Joshua adjured[ them] at that time, saying, Cursed[ be] the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest[ son] shall he set up the gates of it.

At that time Joshua made this solemn declaration:“ The man who attempts to rebuild this city of Jericho will stand condemned before the LORD. He will lose his firstborn son when he lays its foundations and his youngest son when he erects its gates!”

Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying,“ Cursed is the man before Yahweh who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”

是時伯特利人劦重建耶利哥、築基時、則喪長子亞庇蘭、置門時、則喪季子西割、於是嫩之子約書亞所傳耶和華之命應矣。

以東曰、予雖貧乏、傾圮之宅、必復建造、萬有之主耶和華曰、彼雖興版築、必為我所毀、人稱之為惡土、耶和華震怒斯民、恆久不已、

耶穌默然、祭司長曰、當永生上帝前、我令爾誓而告我、爾果上帝子基督否、

有猶太邪術方士、遇惡神所憑諸人、呼主耶穌名曰、我藉保羅所傳之耶穌、令爾出、

令婦發誓、告之曰、如汝克循婦道、未與他人有私、不玷爾身、則致詛之苦水、不害及爾、如爾不循婦道、有私於人、以玷爾身、則耶和華使汝見詛於民中、汝必髀消腹鼓、

當日掃羅與民發誓、曰、毋食餱糧、迨夕乃可、犯者見詛、俟我盡報斯仇。因此以色列族不嘗食物、困憊特甚。民適於林、見地有蜜。既至、蜜滴於地、民畏誓言、手不敢取。掃羅發誓時、約拿單未之聞、以所執之杖濡蜜、嘗之、目即明。民中一人曰、爾父發誓、使民不食餱糧、犯者見詛、今民甚矣憊。約拿單曰、我父累及於民、我少嘗蜜、我目即明、爾眾為證。敵之糗糧、今日為民所得、如任意以食、則殺非利士人、豈非尤眾。民擊非利士人、自密抹至亞耶倫、困憊愈甚。乃取所得、牛羊與犢、宰之於野、肉尚有血而食之。人告掃羅曰、民食有血之肉、干耶和華命。掃羅曰、爾曹犯罪、當移大石至此。又曰、遍告於民、使各牽牛羊於此、宰之而食可也。肉尚有血者毋食、恐干耶和華命。是夜民各牽牛、宰之於彼。掃羅築壇、奉事耶和華實始於此。掃羅曰、我儕夤夜追襲非利士人、虜其所有、使其民人、靡有孑遺、迨至黎明、乃止。民對曰、爾可任意以行。祭司曰、當詣上帝前。掃羅詢於上帝、非利士人今日可襲之乎。爾其以之付於以色列人手乎。是日上帝無所應。掃羅曰、惟爾民長、咸必前來、欲知今日誰干罪戾、我指救以色列族之耶和華而誓、雖我子約拿單、亦必死亡。民中無有應之者。乃申命於以色列族曰、汝眾在彼、我與我子約拿單在此。民曰、爾任意以行。掃羅祈以色列族之上帝耶和華、曰、願指示其實。掣籤得掃羅及約拿單。民弗與焉。掃羅曰、於我父子之間、試再掣籤、乃得約拿單。掃羅問約拿單曰、爾何所為、明以告我。約拿單曰、我僅以所執之杖、嘗蜜少許、何至於死。掃羅曰、約拿單、我必致爾於死、我不若是、願上帝罰我。民謂掃羅曰、今日蒙上帝所祐、約拿單大救以色列族、欲致之死、斷乎不可、我儕指耶和華以誓、其首之一髮、必不隕地、於是約拿單為民所援、免於死亡。掃羅不追非利士人、非利士人歸故土。

王曰、我豈不屢使爾、奉耶和華命、當以真實告我乎。
