Then all the nations of the earth will acknowledge your reputation, obey you like your people Israel do, and recognize that this temple I built belongs to you.

Your arm is powerful, your hand strong, your right hand victorious.

Yet he delivered them for the sake of his reputation, that he might reveal his power.

When Israel saw the great power that the LORD had exercised over the Egyptians, they feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.

Fear and dread will fall on them; by the greatness of your arm they will be as still as stone until your people pass by, O LORD, until the people whom you have bought pass by.

Now, O LORD our God, rescue us from his power, so that all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you, LORD, are the only God.”

You are the source of wealth and honor; you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all.

But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.

I said,“ There is no one like you, LORD. You are great. And you are renowned for your power.Everyone should revere you, O King of all nations, because you deserve to be revered. For there is no one like you among any of the wise people of the nations nor among any of their kings.

a God who is honored in the great angelic assembly, and more awesome than all who surround him?

I have issued an edict that throughout all the dominion of my kingdom people are to revere and fear the God of Daniel.“ For he is the living God; he endures forever. His kingdom will not be destroyed; his authority is forever.He rescues and delivers and performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions!”

He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said,“ For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”

Moses said to the people,“ Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you so that you do not sin.”

I will make a lasting covenant with them that I will never stop doing good to them. I will fill their hearts and minds with respect for me so that they will never again turn away from me.

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’

Then Nebuchadnezzar approached the door of the furnace of blazing fire. He called out,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the most high God, come out! Come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego emerged from the fire.Once the satraps, prefects, governors, and ministers of the king had gathered around, they saw that those men were physically unharmed by the fire. The hair of their heads was not singed, nor were their trousers damaged. Not even the smell of fire was to be found on them!Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praised be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent forth his angel and has rescued his servants who trusted in him, ignoring the edict of the king and giving up their bodies rather than serve or pay homage to any god other than their God!I hereby decree that any people, nation, or language group that blasphemes the god of Shadrach, Meshach, or Abednego will be dismembered and his home reduced to rubble! For there exists no other god who can deliver in this way.”

Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you belong to the LORD, and they will respect you.
