So the people said to Joshua,“ We will worship the LORD our God and obey him.”

民眾答道：「我們必事奉我們的上帝耶和華，聽從祂的話。」

眾民對約書亞說：“我們必事奉耶和華我們的神，必聽從他的話。”

人民對約書亞說：『永恆主我們的上帝、我們要事奉；他的聲音、我們要聽從。』

民曰、我必奉事我上帝耶和華、而聽其言、

民謂約書亞曰、我欲奉事我上帝耶和華而遵其命。

民對約書亞曰、我願崇事主我之天主、聽從其言、

And the people said to Joshua,“ We will serve the Lord our God and obey him.”

Then the people said to Joshua,“ We will serve the Lord our God. We will obey him.”

And the people said to Joshua,“ The Lord our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.”

The people said to Joshua,“ We will serve the Lord our God. We will obey him alone.”

And the people said to Joshua,“ We will serve the Lord our God and obey His voice.”

And the people said to Joshua,“ The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”

And the people said unto Joshua, Jehovah our God will we serve, and unto his voice will we hearken.

So the people said to Joshua,“ We will worship the Lord our God and obey Him.”

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

The people said to Joshua,“ We will worship the LORD our God and obey him.”

The people said to Joshua,“ We will serve Yahweh our God, and we will listen to his voice.”

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”

Moses came and told the people all the commands of the LORD and all the ordinances. Then all the people responded with a single voice,“ We will do everything that the LORD has commanded.”

Go near and listen to everything the LORD our God says. Then you can tell us everything the LORD our God tells you; we will listen and obey.’“ The LORD heard your words when you spoke to me. He said to me,‘ I have heard the words that these people have spoken to you. Everything they have said is right.If only they had such a heart to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that they and their children would prosper forever.

Then all the people responded together,“ We will do all that the LORD has spoken.” So Moses brought the people’s words back to the LORD.
