我漸逐之、待爾人民蕃多、可得此地為業、

主爾之天主、必於爾前驅逐斯民、使爾得其地為業、如主爾之天主所許爾者、

亦以其王付於爾手、爾必滅其名於天下、無人能禦爾、爾將滅之殆盡、

迦勒自彼驅逐亞衲三族、示篩族、亞希幔族、撻買族、或作自彼驅逐亞衲族三人即示篩亞希幔撻買

如是主以全地賜以色列人、即昔所誓賜其列祖之地、以色列人據而居之、主使以色列人四周平康、踐所誓於其祖之言、諸敵中無人能立於其前、無人能立於其前或作無人能抵禦之主以敵悉付其手、

此律法之書、不可離爾口、晝夜思維、致爾謹守遵行凡載於書者、如是必亨通於凡所作、於凡所作原文作於爾諸道如是必明哲、必明哲或作必利達我豈不命爾強爾心、壯爾志乎、勿驚惶、勿畏懼、爾無論何往、主爾之天主必祐爾、○
