know for a certainty that Yahweh your God will no longer drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you.

你们要确实知道，耶和华你们的神必不再将他们从你们眼前赶出；他们却要成为你们的网罗、机槛、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

就要确实知道，耶和华—你们的上帝必不再将他们从你们面前赶出；他们却要成为你们的罗网、圈套、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华—你们上帝所赐的这美地上灭亡。

就要确实知道，耶和华—你们的神必不再将他们从你们面前赶出；他们却要成为你们的罗网、圈套、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华—你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

毫无疑问，你们的上帝耶和华必不再为你们赶走他们。相反，他们还要成为设在你们当中的圈套和陷阱，你们的肉中刺、眼中钉，直到你们在你们的上帝耶和华所赐给你们的这块美好的土地上灭亡。

你们就必知道，耶和华你们的神必不再把这些国家从你们面前赶出去；他们必要成为你们的网罗和陷阱，肋下的鞭和眼中的刺，直到你们从耶和华你们的神赐给你们的这美地上灭亡为止。

那麼你們就要確實知道：永恆主你們的上帝必不再將這些國的人從你們面前趕出；他們卻要成為陷害你們的機檻和誘餌，成為你們肋下的鞭、眼中的荊棘，直到你們從永恆主你們的上帝所賜給你們這美好土地上滅亡掉為止。

則當確知爾上帝耶和華、必不復逐斯民於爾目前、彼必於爾為網羅、為機檻、脇下之鞭、目中之刺、迨爾滅亡、於爾上帝耶和華所賜之美地、

則當知爾上帝耶和華必不再驅斯民於爾前、斯民必陷爾於坎阱、為爾目中之刺、肘下之棘、迨爾滅亡、在爾上帝耶和華所賜之腴壤。

則當知主爾之天主、必不復逐此諸族之民於爾前、斯民必為陷爾之網羅、必為陷爾之網羅或作必陷爾於網羅為鞭於爾脇、為剌於爾目、直至爾曹滅亡、於主爾天主所賜爾之美地、

then you may be sure that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you. Instead, they will become snares and traps for you, whips on your backs and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land, which the Lord your God has given you.

Then you can be sure of what the Lord your God will do. He won’t drive out those nations to make room for you anymore. Instead, they will become traps and snares for you. They will be like whips on your backs. They will be like thorns in your eyes. All that will continue until you are destroyed. It will continue until you are removed from this good land. It’s the land the Lord your God has given you.

know for certain that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you, but they shall be a snare and a trap for you, a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good ground that the Lord your God has given you.

then know for certain that the Lord your God will no longer drive them out of your land. Instead, they will be a snare and a trap to you, a whip for your backs and thorny brambles in your eyes, and you will vanish from this good land the Lord your God has given you.

know for certain that the LORD your God will not continue to drive these nations out before you. They will become a snare and a trap for you, a sharp stick for your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you disappear from this good land the LORD your God has given you.

“ But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.

It will happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be plucked from the land that you are going in to possess.Yahweh will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth. There you will serve other gods which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone.Among these nations you will find no ease, and there will be no rest for the sole of your foot; but Yahweh will give you there a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and pining of soul.Your life will hang in doubt before you. You will be afraid night and day, and will have no assurance of your life.In the morning you will say,“ I wish it were evening!” and at evening you will say,“ I wish it were morning!” for the fear of your heart which you will fear, and for the sights which your eyes will see.Yahweh will bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I told to you that you would never see it again. There you will offer yourselves to your enemies for male and female slaves, and nobody will buy you.

When Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father was.

but mixed themselves with the nations, and learned their works.They served their idols, which became a snare to them.Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.They shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was polluted with blood.Thus they were defiled with their works, and prostituted themselves in their deeds.

All the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces, arose, and came to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.

Yahweh rooted them out of their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and thrust them into another land, as it is today.”

and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.

I declare to you today that you will surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it.

You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. You shall break down their altars.’ But you have not listened to my voice. Why have you done this?Therefore I also said,‘ I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.’”

I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings.I will bring the land into desolation, and your enemies that dwell in it will be astonished at it.I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you. Your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.Then the land will enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your Sabbaths when you lived on it.

Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.

The king of Babylon attacked them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from off the land which you go over the Jordan to possess it. You will not prolong your days on it, but will utterly be destroyed.

The children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they didn’t depart from themuntil Yahweh removed Israel out of his sight, as he said by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria to this day.

They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
