The Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in the land of Canaan to return to their own land of Gilead, which they took possession of according to the LORD’s command through Moses.

於是流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人、別以色列族、離迦南之示羅、歸基列地、即循耶和華藉摩西所命、而據之業、

於是流便、伽得二支派、馬拿西支派之半、離迦南之示羅、別以色列族、歸其所得之業、在基列地、循耶和華所諭摩西之命。

So the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in Canaan to return to Gilead, their own land, which they had acquired in accordance with the command of the Lord through Moses.

So the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh went home. They left the other Israelites at Shiloh in Canaan. They returned to Gilead. That was their own land. They had acquired it according to the Lord’ s command through Moses.

So the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned home, parting from the people of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, their own land of which they had possessed themselves by command of the Lord through Moses.

So the men of Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh left the rest of Israel at Shiloh in the land of Canaan. They started the journey back to their own land of Gilead, the territory that belonged to them according to the Lord’s command through Moses.

So the sons of Reuben, the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh returned home, leaving the sons of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession in which they had settled, in accordance with the command of the Lord through Moses.

So the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, which they had obtained according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half- tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

The Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in the land of Canaan to return to their own land of Gilead, which they took possession of according to the Lord’s command through Moses.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which[ is] in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, which they acquired by the LORD’s command through Moses.

The children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half- tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, which they owned, according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

Moses told them,“ If the Gadites and Reubenites cross the Jordan with you, every man in battle formation before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, you are to give them the land of Gilead as a possession.

Our dependents, wives, livestock, and all our animals will remain here in the cities of Gilead,

The Reubenites and Gadites had a very large number of livestock. When they surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, they saw that the region was a good one for livestock.

I gave Gilead to Machir,and I gave to the Reubenites and Gadites the area extending from Gilead to the Arnon Valley( the middle of the valley was the border) and up to the Jabbok River, the border of the Ammonites.

Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter.

The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there.So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh, and they settled in it.

But half of Gilead, and Og’s royal cities in Bashan— Ashtaroth and Edrei— are for the descendants of Machir son of Manasseh( that is, half the descendants of Machir by their clans).

this as their territory: Jazer and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the Ammonites to Aroer, near Rabbah;

also Gilead and the territory of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah—
