saying,“ Return to your homes with your great wealth— with large herds of livestock, with silver, gold, bronze and iron, and a great quantity of clothing— and divide the plunder from your enemies with your fellow Israelites.”

He said,“ Return to your homes. Take your great wealth with you. Return with your large herds of livestock. Take your silver, gold, bronze and iron with you. Return with all the extra clothes you acquired. Divide up the things you have taken from your enemies. Share them with your people.”

he said to them,“ Go back to your tents with much wealth and with very much livestock, with silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and with much clothing. Divide the spoil of your enemies with your brothers.”

and spoke to them, saying,“ Return with much wealth to your tents, with very much livestock, with silver, with gold, with bronze, with iron, and with very much clothing. Divide the plunder of your enemies with your brothers.”

Then divide the captives between the troops who went out to war and the entire community.

Who can agree to your proposal? The share of the one who goes into battle is to be the same as the share of the one who remains with the supplies. They will share equally.”

So the LORD established the kingdom in his hand. Then all Judah brought him tribute, and he had riches and honor in abundance.

Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor.

“ The kings of the armies flee— they flee!” She who stays at home divides the spoil.

For he considered reproach for the sake of Christ to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, since he was looking ahead to the reward.

Hezekiah had abundant riches and glory, and he made himself treasuries for silver, gold, precious stones, spices, shields, and every desirable item.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

So he led him, and there were the Amalekites, spread out over the entire area, eating, drinking, and celebrating because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and the land of Judah.

You may say to yourself,‘ My power and my own ability have gained this wealth for me,’but remember that the LORD your God gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm his covenant he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

a land where you will eat food without shortage, where you will lack nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and from whose hills you will mine copper.When you eat and are full, you will bless the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.“ Be careful that you don’t forget the LORD your God by failing to keep his commands, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.When you eat and are full, and build beautiful houses to live in,and your herds and flocks grow large, and your silver and gold multiply, and everything else you have increases,be careful that your heart doesn’t become proud and you forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.
