我儕知萬事同工、以益夫愛上帝者、即依其旨而蒙召者也、

今當寅畏耶和華、以真以誠崇事之、去除爾祖昔在河東、暨在埃及所事之神、惟崇事耶和華、爾若以事耶和華為不善、今日可擇所欲事者、或爾祖在河東所事之神、或爾所居斯土、亞摩利人之神、至我及我家、必事耶和華、

我今所諭之誡命、爾若聽從、愛爾上帝耶和華、一心一意而奉事之、

若守我所諭爾之誡命、於爾上帝耶和華愛之附之、而行其道、

忍試者福矣、蓋既經驗必受維生之冕、即主所許於愛己者、

故當愛爾上帝耶和華、恆守其諭、及其典章、律例誡命、

緣此、爾當殷勤、於信益德、於德益智、於智益節、於節益忍、於忍益虔、於虔益友愛、於友愛益仁慈、爾有此而擴充之、則必使爾於識我主耶穌基督、不怠不荒、無此者則盲、僅視所近、已忘舊罪之潔、是故兄弟、愈當殷勤、以堅爾召爾選、爾若行此、則永不蹶躓、

以色列人歟、我今教爾遵守之典章律例、宜聽從之以得生、爾祖之上帝耶和華賜爾之地、可入而承之、我所諭爾之言、不可增、亦不可減、惟遵爾上帝耶和華之誡命、我所諭爾者、

惟親近爾上帝耶和華、如素所為、

人役於我、則當從我、我所在、我役亦在焉、役於我者、我父將貴之、

惟當自慎、謹守乃心、免忘爾目所見、畢生不去於懷、以之示爾子孫、

既至、見上帝之恩、則喜、勸眾堅心恆在於主、

我所愛之兄弟乎、聽之哉、上帝豈非選斯世之貧者、使富於信、而承其所許於愛己者之國乎、

爾以訓詞諭我、俾我謹守兮、願我趨向堅定、守爾典章兮、我重爾諸誡、必不羞愧兮、

不足為糧者、胡權金以市之、不能果腹者、胡勤勞以得之、其謹聽我、而食嘉肴、且飫肥甘、致心悅懌、

未有能事二主者、蓋惡此愛彼、或重此輕彼、爾不能事上帝、又事財貨也、

爾若愛我、必守我誡、

慎之哉、恐有失上帝恩者、恐有苦根發萌以擾爾、致眾玷污、

撒母耳曰、毋畏、汝誠行此諸惡、然勿轉離不從耶和華、惟盡心服事之、

惟當寅畏耶和華、專誠盡心服事之、念其為爾所行之大事、

蓋我所屬所事之上帝、其使昨夜立於我側、曰、

如彼勤學我民之道、以我名而誓曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、若昔誨我民指巴力而誓、則必建立於我民中、

彼若恆遵我誡命律例、有如今日、我必堅定其國、歷世弗替、今在耶和華會、以色列眾前、我上帝亦聞之、爾其尋求爾上帝耶和華之誡命、而遵守之、致爾據此美地、遺之子孫、以為永業、

撒母耳告以色列家曰、如爾一心歸耶和華、則必除異族之神、及亞斯他錄於爾中、專心歸耶和華、而獨事之、則彼援爾於非利士人手、

曰、爾若聽爾上帝耶和華言、行其所義、循其誡、守其典、則我所加於埃及人之疾、必不加諸爾、我乃耶和華醫爾者也、

當順從爾上帝耶和華、而寅畏之、守其誡、聽其命、事之附之、

使我拯於敵手、

當盡心盡性盡力、愛爾上帝耶和華、我今命爾之言、當存於心、勤誨子女、坐於室、行於路、或寢或興、恆論乎此、繫於手以為號、戴於額以為飾、書於爾室門柱、及爾邑門、○

守之行之、是為爾之智慧通達、在列邦民前、彼聞此典章、必曰、此大國、乃智慧通達之民也、

惟爾附爾上帝耶和華者、迄今尚存、

我欲爾各顯此殷勤、終懷充實之望、致爾勿怠、惟效由信與忍而承所許者、○

蓋上帝、即我於其子之福音、以心神所崇事者、證我常言及爾、

愛毋偽、惡惡而親善、

有我誡而守之者、即愛我、愛我者、必見愛於我父、我亦愛之、且以己顯示之、有猶大者、非加畧之猶大、曰、主顯示我儕、而不顯示於世何也、耶穌曰、人若愛我、必守我道、我父必愛之、我儕就而偕居焉、

以色列人歟、爾上帝耶和華何求於爾、第寅畏之、遵行其道、一心一意、愛之事之、守耶和華之誡命典章、我今日所諭爾者、俾爾獲益、

凡秉公正、與常行公義者、其有福兮、
