在河这边和那边的岸上，都必有各种果树生长，可作食物，树上的叶子不枯干，果子也不断绝。每月必结出新果子，因为树所需的水是从圣所里流出来的。树上的果子可作食物，叶子可以治病。”

到那些日子，那时候，人要寻查以色列的罪孽，却无所发现；要查究犹大的罪恶，却一无所见；因为我必赦免我留下的那些人。”这是耶和华的宣告。

所以在安息日的前一天，黄昏的阴影临到耶路撒冷城门的时候，我就吩咐人把城门关闭；我又下令不许开门，直到安息日过了，我又派我的仆人在城门站岗，免得有人在安息日挑担子进来。

然后，他带我回到圣殿的门口。有水正从殿的门槛往下流出来，向东流去，因为圣殿是朝东的。这水从殿的右边，从祭坛的南边下面流出来。他又带我从北门出来，再领我从外面绕到朝东的外门。有水正从右边流出来。

城门白天决不关闭。在那里并没有黑夜。

但是神的诚实，如果因我的虚谎而更加显出他的荣耀来，为什么我还要像罪人一样受审判呢？为什么不说：“我们去作恶以成善吧！”（有人毁谤我们，说我们讲过这话。）这种人被定罪是理所当然的。
