扫罗也往基比亚自己的家去，有一群心中被上帝感动的勇士跟随他。

他们过了隘口，要在迦巴住宿。拉玛战兢，扫罗的基比亚逃命。

以色列啊，你从基比亚的日子以来就时常犯罪，他们仍停留在那里。攻击罪孽之辈的战事岂不会临到基比亚吗？

主人对他说：“我们不可进入外邦人的城，那不是以色列人的地方，我们越过这里到基比亚去吧。”他又对仆人说：“来，让我们到基比亚或拉玛的一个地方住宿。”于是他们越过那里往前走，将到便雅悯的基比亚的时候，太阳已经下山了。他们进入基比亚要在那里住宿。他来坐在城里的广场上，但没有人接待他们到家里住宿。

人多的要多给他们产业，人少的要少给他们产业；各照被数的人数分配产业。

那利未人，就是被害妇人的丈夫，回答说：“我和我的妾来到便雅悯的基比亚住宿。基比亚人夜间起来攻击我，包围我住的屋子。他们想要杀我，并把我的妾污辱致死。

这地界又下到欣嫩子谷对面山的边缘，就是利乏音谷的北边；又下到欣嫩谷，沿着耶布斯斜坡的南边，下到隐‧罗结；

至于住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，犹大人不能把他们赶出去。于是，耶布斯人与犹大人同住在耶路撒冷，直到今日。

你们要按照宗族抽签，承受土地：人多的要多给他们产业；人少的要少给他们产业。抽到何地给何人，那地就属于他。你们要按照父系的支派承受产业。

当日，大卫说：“谁攻打耶布斯人，就要从水道上去，攻打我心里所恨恶的瘸子、盲人。”因此有人说：“盲人和瘸子不得进殿里去。”
