你们把地划成七份之后，就要把所写的带到我这里来。我要在耶和华—我们的上帝面前，为你们抽签。利未人在你们中间没有分得地业，因为耶和华祭司的职分就是他们的产业。迦得支派、吕便支派和玛拿西半支派已经在约旦河东得了地业，是耶和华的仆人摩西给他们的。”那些去划地的人起来正要去的时候，约书亚吩咐他们说：“你们去走遍那地，把地划分以后，就回到我这里来。我要在示罗这里，在耶和华面前为你们抽签。”那些人就去了，走遍那地，按照城镇把地划成七份，写在册上，回到示罗营中约书亚那里。约书亚就在示罗，在耶和华面前为他们抽签。约书亚按照以色列人的支派，在那里把地分给他们。便雅悯支派，按着宗族抽签所得之地，是在犹大子孙和约瑟子孙之间。
