告以色列族、於其所得之地、以邑郊賜於利未人、其人民則處於邑中、其牛羊六畜與凡所有則歸於郊、所賜於利未人者、邑垣而外、四周一百丈為郊、郊外之地、東西南北、各二百丈、邑在其中、此即邑郊之丈數也。利未人所得之邑郊、其中必有六邑、為逋逃之藪、使誤殺人者可遁於彼、外此更得邑四十有二、蓋利未人所得之邑郊、共四十有八。以色列族所得之地、必於其中賜邑於利未人、視得地之大小、為賜邑之多寡、各循所得之業而給焉。○
