惟此律書、勿離爾口、晝夜思維、守其所錄、致獲坦途、而得利達、

昔耶和華所命其僕摩西、摩西傳命約書亞者、約書亞悉遵行之、一無所違、○

遵守爾上帝耶和華之命、行其道途、循其典章誡命、律例法度、依摩西律所載、俾爾無論何為何往、咸得利達、

凡我所諭爾者、爾必謹守遵行、毋增毋減、

我行於公義之途、履於公平之徑、

耶和華僕摩西死後、耶和華諭摩西從者、嫩之子約書亞曰、

故當遵行此約之言、使凡所為、無不亨通、○

勿偏左右、移爾足遠於惡、

按手其上、以命託之、循耶和華所諭摩西之命、
